My man Gortat was much better in 2nd half 13/11/2 4bl.

Agreed. He isn't a guy you can really run any type of offense through consistently, and he isn't a rim protector at all. I actually thought he was better than what he is.

yeap he's +19 , 13 pts 11 boards and 4 blocks - no rim protector and soft guy..... You should see how poor rotations in defense still Wizards have . Opponent big guys score almost all the the time from outside the box after poor rotations

Don't get me wrong, I love the guy... he is FAAAR better than most big men who've been in a Wizards uni in a long time. He made a clutch play last game and did it again tonight. His veteran experience is very important for this young team.

I was just making a general statement about what type of player he is. He's very good, but not quite in the upper echelon of starting centers who bring it every night. Nothing wrong with that, like I said he does a lot of good things so I generally focus on what he CAN do.

Marcin was awful in the first half, but really good in 2nd.

sure but You're correct - one of the things he should do more often - dunk the ball instead of layups . In D he's pretty solid - sometimes overenthusiastic on Pn&Rs ..

He does when he can. Did you see the miss in the first half.

Gortat is Gorat. What makes him better is who is playing next to him. When they changed that, he looked better.

Wow. Battling with Charlotte for 5th. Didn't see Charlotte as the team we would be doing that against.

Man, what will BRK do now ? 101M on a team that will suck. Same thing happened to LAL last year.

Wall with a really strong half defensively on Crawford. I liked the way he played for the most part, when Wall and Ariza are forcing turnovers defensively and getting out in transition, it makes us a tough team to beat.

Another strong game for Nene, and Gortat was much better in the fourth.

The long 2's by Beal don't bother me as long as he's shooting them in rhythm and he's got a wide open look. It's the contested long 2's early in the shot clock that are frustrating.

On Ariza, FO has a tough decision to make before the deadline. Either trade him while his value is at an all time high, or keep him and try and resign him in the offseason, in which case i'm not sure where Porter would fit in.

Oh and props to Seraphin for a nice little stretch over the last few games. He looks much more comfortable out there when Nene's by his side.

That was a great, great road trip. Still would have loved to win those games versus the Bucks, Nugs, and Hawks, but this trip surely served as a pick-me-up after those tough loses.
