Indy is just to physical and athletic for them. Wizards need to add more power to the roster. They are just to soft. Meanwhile, Indy's SG that will beat you up. Wizards have Nene. One power player on a roster is not enough.

9-23 from the line :o

And Webster with 2 shots in 25 minutes ?

The team started by playing really physical on D, but you can't keep that up if you are going to play like Pssys on offense. You need to pound on both sides. Long shot as it might have been, they had to go to Kevin S. That was clear before halftime. They needed someone who would at least try to pound as they moved toward the basket. But nimble Randy never figures stuff like that out. Very small window to win this one. Terrible match up for the Wizards.

I didn't see the game, but I did see the shot chart.

Behind the arc: WAS took 14 shots; IND took 13.
At the rim: WAS took 24 shos; IND took 36.
Long 2s: WAS took 29 shots, IND took 18.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

Yep, it was embarrassing how all the Wizards, except for maybe Nene, were scared to even attack the rim. Wall and Beal seemed to be shooting long 2s all game, even in situations where it appeared they might have a lane to attack the basket.

But the bottom line is that the Wiz are an average or just below average team and the Pacers are a superior team.

Uhhhh, sometimes?

I get the most hilarious looks when I tell people I'm a Wizards fan, and that isn't likely to change in the foreseeable future.

Glad i went to the gym rather than watch the second half. Ugh

Wall is still an inefficient scorer who turns it over too much. Beal looks like he is trying to become Nick 2.0. Nene can hardly move any more, clearly on the decline. Gortat is nothing more than an average center, one that we gave up a 1st round pick for.

Might be time for a little pick me up pill..

Ok, they lost to the team with the best record who is a huge physical team and has the best home record at 18-1. I can except that. But missing all those FTA is unexceptable. They played them tough in the first half and folded in the 2nd. So while I can except a lose, its worse then that because they didn't keep it a respectable loss. They didn't even try the Kevin S adjustment until the game was out of hand real late. Felt that was a poor decision by the HC. You had to at least try it.

You couldn't score and last time you played them in Indy, KS had 9pts in 12 mins.

Wall shot like ass against them again.

actually we are not an average team. We are a horrible team who is just below average in a D-League conference

Ah well, least they aren't fooling anyone.. They are a mediocre team! Nothing more, possibly less, but the tune is always the same with Ted and his teflon GM's.. Until he takes a chance on a different architect, his teams will continue to be just what they are, mediocre at best! Just be thankful the east is so sorry we can actually enjoy a couple wins for a change! Same goes for the Caps and their crummy division.. They'll "probably" squeak into the playoffs and have a quick exit as usual.. Just is what it is for DC sports fans. After a couple decades you get used to it.. :/

Ernie and Wittman are terrible.

Why did Wall play 39 minutes in the middle of a 4 in 5 night stretch when we're getting blown out.

Why are Wall & Beal shooting soo many long 2's? beal especially because the majority of his are long contested 2's....his bad habits and allergies to the FT line are alarming. wall is also shooting a career low in FT attempts.

Why don't we have a viable backup one or two and why can't Maynor get into a game when we're down 20 in garbage time? There's no reason not to figure out a way to get a Hinrich, Miller, or Neal...

Last years lineup with Martell and Okafor seemed better than this years team. I dont know what the stats say but you can easily argue that the team is worse than last year's team w/Wall. Last year's group wasn't as good on the road, but was better at home, was better versus good teams, and handily beat some opponents. We had signature wins. This year? I can't think of one....Ariza is playing well but is an inconsistent shooter and dribbles inefficiently. I think this team would benefit from Martell's consistency and efficient style of play. Wittman basically insisted on fixing something that wasn't broke. Can we also stop playing him at the 2! Wait, we can't cause of our GM.

Bottom line is this organization has aimed too low. The playoffs is too low of a goal this year. There's no reason we shouldn't have aimed for the 3 seed. ATL and Toronto have some pieces I'd rather have, but is the talent level that different or are we just constructed with more awkward fits led by a bottom 5 Coach?

Wall's shot has improved but he has to think drive first. He's falling in love with shooting the J and his ft attempts are at a career low. Where would that be if he didn't take techs or fts in the last minute?!!!

Beal's play is atrocious. His shooting, shot selection, and lack of aggressiveness stink! Right talent, poor development of his talent....where are the coaches to hammer home the point re shot selection?

Btw, just saw Randy's comments post game. Basically blamed fts and wrote this game off as one of those nights in essence. That would be ok if we hadn't lost our LAST SIX GAMES AGAINST .500 or better teams by an average of 17 pts!!! He's a loser. His record shows it and he has a losing mentality. Gortat gave all credit to Indy. HAVE SOME DAMN PRIDE! There is no sense of urgency here....attitude is reflective of leadership. This team has a losing attitude based on their loser mentality coach.

Trade Ariza for a Sturdy Center.. Sanders,Monroe,Drummond etc

Then Fire Wittman for a more Experienced coach who has Playoff experience *Cough Cough*.
