Not to mention the difference in rebounds and assists

You can't expect a 20 year old Beal to outplay Harden. Plus Harden gets more bogus calls than any player in the NBA.

So pathetic. Randy should give back his game check

I wish I had more confidence in Webster but I think you just might have to sit him to watch. Move Ariza to the 2. Webster is so inconsistent with his shot but he's tougher and stronger.

Hell, Webster drives better then Beal does.

How can he be inconsistent when he does not get many shots??? He took 5 shots the last 2 games. Its not like he is 5-17 like Beal or Wall every game.

Randy should be fired tonight. Wizards have lost 7 out of the last 8 at home.

Huh? Might be dumbest post of the night unless you forgot what quarter it was.

Wow really? 5 pt lead, get a bucket early in the clock and cut it to a 1 possession game, with more than enough time so you're not forced to have to foul.

Webster is the most efficient scorer on the team. He should start.

If they are in this to make the playoffs, then play the line ups like you are doing that.

+1. Its hard to win when you basically sleep walk for 3 quarters and then try to turn it on at the end. If they played with the kind of effort they played with in the 4th quarter all game, they would have won this one. However, they had to spend so much energy catching up, they had nothing left at the end. They deserved to lose this game. The lack of effort and intensity during the first three quarters is what did them in, not the last 5 minutes.

I remember reading nonsense over the summer about people preferring Beal over harden. ..most ridiculous argument ever. Beal isn't on the same stratosphere as Harden....

Beal has not played well, but what exactly has Webster done the last few games? He has been as invisible as Porter lately.

17-5 the last 5 minutes.

5 pts off 5 FTs

They were running them into the ground. Then magically, they starting running a half court set. Then it was all down hill.

Pretty frustrated with this game from the beginning - so I probably am going to be overly negative. But Beal is just not ready yet. I think he has mildly regressed from last year. He certainly hasn't taken the big jump forward that we had all hoped for.

So... I think that Webster need to start and Beal needs to go to the bench. But... it needs to be done with finesse.

Or we just deal with his growth this season and deal with the losses that will come with his current issues.

I guess I am piling on ... Beal wasn't the only one responsible for this loss.

Give him more shots and lets see.

I'm just done with Randy. He has taken them as far as he can. Get these guys a big time coach and lets see what we really have. Until then, let Newman who they got from SA coach them.

Wizards sleep walk for 3 quarters. Decide to play defense in the 4th quarter. Seraphin comes in because Gortat is soft as butter and gives the Wiz a spark on offense. Wall finally starts driving to the hoop. Wizards go up by 5 and then lose steam, most likely because they are spent. Beal makes a few bad plays. Game over.

As Witt said though, the Wizards played 3 quarters sleep walking and that's what done them in. At least Witt took part of the credit for that...but I also agree that someone on the team needs to step up and be a leader on the team and make sure they don't come out flat at home.

EG goes before Witt - no matter what. If we want to let one go, let them both go and let the new GM pick the new coach.
