Michael Lee RTs that Harrington has more air balls tonight that Porter has minutes in the last three weeks

They need to just focus the offense on Wall and Gortat.

The way the Wiz have played, they should be down by 20 in the first half. Beal can't take games off like this. Gooden is beyond unwatchable. Wall can't carry the team against Memphis. Harrington... well, he's not quite as awful as Gooden, but he's getting there. This is sad.

You can talk about every combination of lineups in the books but when Wall and Beal are giving you nothing on both ends of the floor, you're going to get slaughtered by a good team.

How is Wall giving us nothing? I'm not shy about calling Wall out when he's struggling but he's not the problem here. Memphis is literally playing ICE on him EVERY time he touches the ball.

How can you blame Wall? He's single-handedly keeping us in this one.

He isn't stopping penetration and outside of playmaking has been absent on offense, We're mostly in striking distance cause of Booker and Gortat. Guard needs to produce more. I have more confidence in Wall then Beal though.

I mean on both ends. Sure, he's passing it well, but he's barely giving an effort on D. But change from nothing to very little.

I think your being a little harsh. Memphis has clearly structured their game plan around stopping Wall. They are giving him nothing and allowing him to give guys like Beal open shots. The problem is that no one is hitting anything outside 15 feet.

Opening up the Cook Book.

Made props to him. He came into the league as a terrible outside mid range shoot.

But he worked it out. He is pretty reliable from mid range now.

Second quarter defense has been awful and Gasol has barely played.

Gortat cannot score on Gasol. It's amazing how good that guy is. He might as well settle for jumper or pass the ball out.

Serious question, is Ariza our second best player?
