Just finished watching the game... Wow! Love the overall team effort, Kyshawn was great on both ends leading the way, Tre was very good too. Liked they way Sarr and Bagley played also.

Still would like to see more ball movement on the offensive end, the defense overall was solid, everyone contributed, good team win.

Exactly, WP.

How do we make sure that happens this year? Last year was pretty obvious, keep Kuz on the court as long as possible.

This year so far CJ and Bub have been our weaker links, but they almost certainly get better.

Not sure how to bottom out this team really has some juice.

Yeah, we still need to tank hard this year. The FO tried their best, but George is saying like no. Bub & CJ are doing their part, but I think the only real solution is to trade for Kuzma again and play him 40 MPG lol.

The Nets are clearly the worst team in the east. I don't think there is any way we lose more games than them.

The Mystics’ summer is instructive here. They were shockingly .500 and in the playoff race with two rookie altars. So Winger traded away everyone who could play bexcept the rooks.

Deni Avdija had 20 in the first half. They beat the Warriors by 20.

The Wizards won despite 1-7 FG from Carrington and 2-8 FG from McCollum.

If we had Deni, Kyshawn, Alex & Tre.... it would literally make it impossible to tank with Ky's ascension. I'll sacrifice a Deni if it gets us Darryn, Cam or A.J.

The box score likes what Bagley and Kispert/Whitmore did tonight.

Glad you mentioned Bagley -- he played extremely well.

Cam not so much, although he was active. Shot wouldn't fall, however.

Not too concerned about the tank yet. Dallas looks to be a dis-functional team that won’t win many games until Kylie comes back. George can’t be great every game.

Forget
the
tank.

Just play each game to win each game. Sarr is getting better. Riley might be better than Tre. Tre averages 16.5, and we're complaining. He's a 25 per game player. Kyshawn George and Bilal Coulibaly defend.

Just play the team we have.

It would be horrific, to forget the tank. It would set us back years and years. It would be the porn-stache ghost of Grunfeld come back from the dead. It would invalidate everything the past two years were about. It would deprive us of a FRP in a superb draft … and give it to the Knicks. No. Not doing that.

No other highlights. No mention of Tre Johnson or Alex Sarr, who by the box score were certainly impactful.

There's a YouTube from the game that focuses on
Ky. Watch that one.

In hindsight there is something else that is really impressive. Dallas had a huge starting lineup yet they didnt outrebound us.

Bagley is in the prime portion of his career,
in motor racing talk, he's in the fat part of his
powerband, on the cam or on the pipe. Good
acquisition.

After the game Kyshawn was interviewed and asked about guarding Flagg. He mentioned watching film on him before the game. Didn't say how long but I suspect that a lot of players don't do that

Or that we were down by 20 against the Bucks before still getting our ----- kicked by double digits, a Bucks team people expect to be about .500.

You guys are swinging WAY too much from result to result. We suck, this guy sucks! This guy's god mode, we're not keeping our pick and I'm fine with it (which is insane, no offense to you two, but it is)".

Games will swing back and forth dramatically because we have young improving players, and quality old vets mixed in, but roster for roster there's a reason the O/U on our win total was 20.5. Vegas, and everyone else expects us to be a bit better, but not much better, and still they all see us as a bottom 3 side.

This is a season about watching player development and improvement and celebrating it, and not fixating so much on results that you turn into Debbie downer whenever the team ----'s the bed. Rely on me to be your Debbie downer, and just enjoy the players working slowly but surely to find out what caliber of player they are in the NBA.

This isn't a 40 win team people, at best, we're at risk at winning 30ish, but I think an O/U of 20.5 was probably reasonable. I suspect we'll win 22-25. The org is not going to let the team win 35 games or whatever. They aren't idiots. The only way that happens is if the young guys are actually hidden stars, and not just mostly complimentary players with maybe 1 or 2 with higher upside.

Enjoy the games, but man the yo you effect result to result in here is NUTS.
