43 points in the third for the Cavs, after they shot 74% in the first.
--Wizards started reading the good press and believed they were better defensively, but didn't bring it.
--Bad matchups everywhere. Pavlovic shot over Daniels, Gooden over Jamison, Z over smalls on the perimeter and Haywood, too.
Washington can't beat Cleveland in the playoffs without Gil and maybe not even with him.
THIS Cavs team can win it all this season.
So you think having GA erased all those bad mismatches ?

If anything, Raf, isn't it just likely that I'm pissed the Wizards are losing this bad and not at all trying to bring you down or being full of myself?
This is a major downer because this game was for a top-4 seed.
The Wizards have laid down like capitulating (sp?)dogs.
Even the Cavs announcers have brought the point up that this could be a demoralizing loss for the Wizards.
We'll have to wait and see what happens against Memphis.
This might be a BAD loss.
What I don't like is nobody got pissed off. Nobody put a hard foul down.
This does remind me of getting swept like gentleman and getting beat the year before in playoffs like gentlemen.

Apparently, EJ has learned nothing from our playoff series with the Cavs. The Cavs use size against us every game and abuse us.
The Cavs are just flat better than us right now, we need Gilbert if we are to hang with these guys in a series.
So can you come up with a line up you think would work using the players we have ?

I just think the whole gameplan was wrong from the start....when other guys get involved, the entire team gets going.
If LeBron goes for 80, then he goes for 80, but you absolutely don't double LeBron or help on LeBron unless he's going to the hole and getting a lay-up. Go under every screen and roll and make him hit 20 jumpers in a row, and I don't care if he hits every one of them.
With that said, Gooden, Pavlovic, and Z especially hit every shot today - shots that they don't normally hit. But when you let these other guys get going, they are very hard to beat. We should NEVER double Z down low or EVER front the post. That's a college thing to do. One lob pass and these guys have dunks. Big Z is a ball-hog and once the ball goes into him, he never passes it back out unless he's doubled. We gave up so many damn layups in that 3rd quarter that if we just played everyone straight up, we would have been fine since none of those guys were going to continue to hit the shots they had been hitting in the beginning of hte game (but when you give them layups like we did, then its easy)

It's understandable that you're upset CCJ. I'm shrugging and moving on. Bad loss, they play Friday so they can redeem themselves.
BTW, hands11...I'm not sure what's gotten into you, but this isn't like some other message boards where you can call people "nazis" for disagreeing with your opinion.

Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

NO, I don't.
Tonight Gil keeps this closer just by getting to the line or making tough shots when nobody else can get in the lane. Gil's a very difficult cover and in this game you really miss what he can do.
That said, Cleveland's just flat better than the Wizards and right now I think they look like they'll win it all if they keep this up.
Pavlovic is a very underrated defender, as is Varajeo.
They move the ball so much better now and they're so much more potent without Eric Snow. Gibson and Jones make shots. Brown is a good bench player.
They have the team and Gilbert still won't be better than them if they keep beating the Wizards with size.

Or
OP/BH
AB/OP
I would have taken any of them over going small against CLE.

who are acting like you. I didn't say a Nazi, I said and opinion Nazi
Acting like what? Apparently I pissed you off somehow but I fail to realize how. You're pissed off b/c we're losing? Big deal.
