Ditto...they all suck. Right now, I'd rather watch the bench more than the starters. It's depressing how many times I've said that this year.

I don't mean to, um, shine sunlight on your rainy day, but haven't these Wizards won six of their last seven games? They play a bad half and everyone goes nuts? Everyone needs to get a grip. Besides, this is why you play the second half of the game--it isn't over at half-time.

And another three. It's a combination of horrible perimeter defense and insanely lucky shooting. Didn't Portland score under 85 last night against the fricking Sonics??

AJ shooting a fantastic 1 of 6 with many missed layups.

Boy, everything is going wrong. Missing layups, missing free throws, leaving 3pt shooters open, letting them drive at will.

This is getting ugly, fast.

Everyone is to blame. I don't know if you are implying that Blatche or Haywood have played well because they obviously have not. DS isn't hitting nor playing much D. AJ has been invisible. CB has been good offensively but questionable on defense. This is a team loss.

I disagree, totally.

There are team wins and there are coaching losses. EJ stinks tonight.

Mason, Blatche, and Songaila in the first half were +3, +4, +4 and held Portland to 1-7 shooting to start the second. The team defense was good in the second but they did give up some boards and second chance points.

At the end of the second the coach took out Mason, who had hit two threes in the second. He took out Songaila, who scored four in the paint. He brought in Jamison and Caron and suddenly Jones, Webster, and Outlaw were wide open for three. EJ's collapsing in against great three point shooters; and against a team with no Aldridge or Roy inside.

Horrible coaching and terrible defense mainly by the starters.

It's not everybody playing poorly.

Jesus. 3 missed layups in one possession and then they hit a long jumper. I'm done with this bull **** effort. Can't wait to see us get slaughtered by the Sonics tomorrow night on our way to an 0-5 road trip.

We'll win tomorrow. We usually play well after really embarrassing losses.

Now in the third they go down 22 before EJ calls timeout.

He should have sat AD down before now. The guy's a spectator on defense. DeShawn's doing NOTHING tonight.

To me, let Roger play PG and just have Caron, DS, AB, and BH and try to get physical. Sit Antawn down tonight.

This is a loss anyway you slice it.

Why are you guys surprised? Nate McMillian owns Eddie Jordan. Mind you this is the same Blazers team that just lost to the Sonics.

You're right that he's had EJ's number for sure in the past.

He owns him tonight for sure.

Webster owns Butler tonight and Outlaw owns Jamison and Jack owns Daniels.

Okay, Daniels with a hustle play. Good.

Now they need to get AJ going or just to sit him.

Washington needs to get some shooters on the floor. Take Daniels out of the game. The Blazers defense is sagging every time he handles the ball because they know he can't threaten them with his jumper.

Put Mason on the point.

Finally, a real good lineup on the floor. Young and McGuire with Stevenson, Daniels, and Jamison at C.

In this instance you need to run and get them running, too.

predictable. It happens every time. We play a bad depleted team on the road that has no motivation but the lottery after a great win and we just lay an egg. How many times has this happened? this is why Eddie Jordan will never win coach of the year.
