Minny selects 3 PGs? WTF is going on up there? Brain freeze by Kahn!
If you can fill the unforgiving minute

But the thing is, this is why you don't trade before the draft. Hell even fantasy football dweebs know this crap, you don't deal until you know exactly what options you're losing before you deal. Absolutely incredible. Just mind numbingly stupid. What was the god d--- hurry? The franchise that brought you an old and small for a young and big dumbarse trade in '96, repeated their insane stupidity in '98, and has now added to the lore of draft day stupidity and general dunderheadedness. Move over top draft pick for 4 games from Mark Price, we've got another dumbarse trade that belongs on the shelf of Boulez-infamy.

MIN is going to play small ball by starting a PG at all five positions.

QFT. same people too

Yep...the same crybabies were complaining about Javale this time last season. The crow was eaten early...

Chalmers, the guy I said draft, played and made the playoffs.

Javale was a sub for a 19-win team.

I think he can be a really good offensive player in time. In saying he's much better than I thought is just like saying Nick Young is much more athletic or his shot is so pretty. Big damned deal.

What has he won? Neither are the type that make mentally sharp plays. Neither are gamers.

If either player was all that good now way in hell the Wizards with two all stars, Jamison and Butler, wouldn't have been much better.

I think you happy dudes just don't know that much.

Agree...

This just serves to show that EG got the short end of the deal with Minny. A novice Gm was ripe for the picking. We could have gotten one of these late 1st round picks.

So they're trading the 18th pick (Lawson) for a future pick?

Really? You guys couldn't throw the Wiz a friggin bone and just give us the pick?

I'm guessing Ernie had no interest in adding a rookie and felt no one was worth it. Seems fair to me.

Ernie wasn't smart enough to get this pick...

And it goes without saying but I liked the NBA Draft a lot better when it was being broadcast on TNT.

Agree...ESPN has a lot of flash, with little substance

Give EG some credit. I think he knew Rubio would probably be there at 5. I think he chose to go with experienced, proven talent (Foye/Miller) rather than another project (Rubio).

It is apparently the Bobcats pick, which could be very valuable.

Minnesota already has 7 PFs, I thought they were trying to make a roster of 7 PGs and 7PFs.

closq00, thanks for throwing that bone out there for me to gnaw on.

Minny's definitely going to trade at least one of Flynn, Rubio, or Lawson.

Wizards really need a true point behind Gil. Maybe there's some hope ...

ATL just got one of the steals of the draft - WF PG Jeff Teague. In a couple of years, he'll take over for Bibby and make people say Ricky Rubio, who?

If you know Rubio is going to be there, then why do you make this trade before the draft? If you have Rubio selected you have leverage on the TWolves, that you could trade with NY or someone else who wants him.

Yeah, I thought for a second their GM might have OCD where everything has to be perfectly equal.

Yeah and if they had done that EJ would have resigned in Philly and become head coach of the Wolves.
