And yet that is exactly the case the right is making this morning. You have to be a pretty low information viewer for this to work, but perhaps they have accurately summed up a certain percentage of their viewers.

This has the worse possible outcome. It allows Trump to stand on a pile of slime-soaked toadies who sacrificed their reputation so he could declare vindication, which in all likelihood his most ardent supporters will accept. Simultaneously, by not backing down and apologizing like a normal human being, he absolutely alienates all rational thinking people watching this. Not just democrats, but foreign leaders, Wall Street on down.

This President has made it crystal clear that HIS truth is the only one that matters. He has let everyone know that the most powerful man in the world will not be not bound by facts.

Its because they lack true freedom in the UK!

We have the freedom to kill each other quickly in abundance, something only a few other democracies around the world have. Countries like Honduras, Libya and the Central African Republic join hands in solidarity with the United States in celebrating true freedom by distributing weapons and the freedom they impart on those who fire them widely.

As a side thought, the fact they will take a truck or car and drive it into a group of people makes the idea of prevention of attack near impossible. There is no corollary to gun policy for this. We need to rethink the outcomes.

To a gathering of Republicans Tuesday night, Trump said...

“Most people don’t even know {Abraham Lincoln} was a Republican,” Trump told a group of Republicans. “Right? Does anyone know? A lot of people don’t know that.”

Who here didn't know Lincoln was a Republican?

I guess he's never heard Republicans referrred to as "the Party of Lincoln". :dontknow:

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Considering old Jay Leno "guy on the street" videos I'd say the majority of people don't know that.

Horse s**t, Nunes knew exactly what he was and continues to do, muddy the waters in the public and provide Trump with plausible cover by trickling out irrelevant information to Trumps original claims.

Don't worry I'm sure the media will find out Nunes once dated a Russian, or flew Aeroflot within a week.

I've done both, but not recently and not at the same time.

Trump probably just learned that Lincoln was a Republican...and he figures "most people" are just as ignorant as he is.

LOL I love how Republicans say that like it mattered. During those times, the R's were the D's, and vice versa. Lincoln would be a modern day democrat.

https://www.goacta.org/news/survey_half_of_americans_dont_know_when_the_civil_war_took_place

Poll above, 50% didn't know the general timeline of the Civil WR, 82% of Americans did not know what the Emancipation Proclamation was, 80% had not heard of John Wilkes Booth, and 33% thought Lincoln led the Confederate army.

Considering that, certainly not.

You realize when Trump says "no one knew about this!" about something he's actually referring to himself just discovering something after previously not knowing it. Since he is supposed to be the smartest man to ever live, to him that must mean no one else knows about it either. Like when he said, "no one knew healthcare could be so complicated!" Same deal.

It's likely via the LTE chips, has long been rumored. If you look at the latest versions, all GSM iPhones (global) have intel based modem processors while US only CDMA networks have Qualcomm LTE chips now.

Bizarre, but doesn't surprise me at all. Collecting the data via modem, grabs it prior to Apple's CPU implementing their proprietary encryption.

The thing that struck me on Trump's 'wiretapping!!' squawk. was the tacit admission he'd been caught doing a bad, bad thing. Here he was accused of talking with Russians, and his response was to say: How'd you know that???

Well here Nunes confirmed how: our Intel agencies were doing their damn job, monitoring some known Nasties. And Trump and company blundered into the crosshairs of their investigation and oversight.

No one was tracking Trump until he was in direct contact with the cloak and dagger guys from the Kremlin. sure, if he wasn't on the radar screen after that point then our 'Intelligence' agencies are pretty stupid. And our country is doomed. But the fact that Trump surrogates kept resurfacing like toenail fungus meant our intel community didn't have to watch him directly, just watch the bad guys he kept making kissy face with.

We were not tracking Trump, we were tracking the criminal wing of the Russian government. Trump and his buddies just kept showing up talking to them. Pretty easy to understand, America.
