One of my buds holds a high position at Maryland, and I got the chance to go to the game on Saturday--suite level. Very cool. So much free swag and I got to meet the University president, Walt Williams, and Steny Hoyer.

Unfortunately, they let the game get away from them.

Locksley fired. I don’t know how the program hasn’t folded. The football program is at best the fourth most popular program at the school behind men’s and women’s basketball and lacrosse. It’s totally irrelevant and a regional embarrassment. They should abandon like Georgetown. I bet big 10 wishes they recruited a different east coast school if they were hoping for a semi decent football university.
