Almost posted the assassination, but thought it may be too-much, the idiot went to Starbucks and they have a good look at his face from other security camera footage, I wonder if the killer will end up being just some angry guy who was phucked by Big Insurance.

I am surprised it took this long for something like this to happen.

The for profit healthcare system in the United States is evil and rotten to the core.

Agree, read the comments on social media about this story, people are fed-up with this corrupt system.

one wonders how seriously they believe their own propaganda about their policies being good for anyone.

I'm assuming that this is good, since Assad fled to Russia? The EU's reaction makes this sound like a good thing. Yay? I'll take it.

Oh I remember this now, Trump pulled out in 2019 and left a bunch of our allies at the mercy of their enemies, a really cowardly and evil act that he will burn in hell for forever.

Now that I read about this a little more the details are coming back, basically Assad is a brutal dictator but the rebels are Al Qaeda affiliated, so there's no good outcome here. Biden admin worried that the outcome could actually be worse now.

This is my mantra now - things can always get worse.

No previous president (none) has had as many Cab Secretaries resign under ethical
clouds as Golfy 45 did. Not Nixon (watergate), not Harding (teapot dome),
not Reagan/Bush (Iran contra) or Dubya. Republicans do crime much more
thoroughly, and shamelessly, than Dems do crime.

Does anyone think the current AG nominee will investigate Golfy-47's admin
in a serious way? Since the primary and really sole qualification for his cab is loyalty
to Golfy himself, and the GOP, the answer is clearly no.
Beautiful analogy, dobrojim.

I wish Biden had say **** it. I'm the President and he's my aon.

you'll note that the dem policies focus on people who don't have their health, families, home, gainful employment, etc.

you'll note that the republican policies focus on benefiting those who have it, at the expense and peril of those who don't.

fine, we don't use the words dem, republican. i don't think those exist anyway. establishment dems aren't going to promote social welfare, universal healthcare, curbing corporate greed, really they're neutral do-nothings. far left would enact policies (your bernies and AOCs). but the thing with the right is that they're going to actively harm the disenfranchised.

more 'news' that is not really news, Golfy is (reportedly) pardoning lots of violent J6ers.
I'm not sure how his supporters that voted on the 'crime issue' are rationalizing that. To
say the inmates are running (or about to start running) the asylum doesn't seem apt. Fox
guarding the henhouse? IDK.

We just have to wait and see what happens I guess as far as how
society/culture changes in response to this. I don't see how it can be good. I remember
when the right used defund the police as a cudgel. Yet Golfy's plans to pardon the violent
mob was not even close to a secret.

Finally another tidbit I just heard was that 77 Nobel Laureates signed a letter saying
don't put RFK into this position. Will the Senate listen? Time will tell.

Movies will be made about him.

I've been an extra in three movies and on three TV series filmed in Hawaii.

He looks like an A-list star..
