This guy had a triple double off the bench in 25 mins i want him asap
So what. The Wizards simply don't have the organization to support lazy players or malcontents. Randle would bomb here.
He helped me won money on my fantasy team.

Ed Tapscott, President of Basketball Operations has a nice ring to it.

Anyone other then Ernie has a nice ring to it. I'll let someone on this board be gm before that bum.

Firing Ernie is basically firing himself, I really doubt it's going to happen.

Not about Lebron, but I think the Lakers think they have a legit shot at Durant or Kawhi. Theyre not making a move like this until it becomes obvious theyre not getting either. As is, there's no reasonable way for them to become title contenders this year, so no point in giving up assets for Wall and giving up the chance at KD/KL
I still think Beal makes a lot more sense as a fit for the Lakers than Wall does. And now that I think of it, including Jeff Green also makes sense - as he had success with Lebron last season. Ingram and Hart sounds like a law firm, but that's the pair the Wiz should go after. Beal and Green for Ingram, Hart, KCP, and Beasley fits in the trade checker and also saves close to 5 mil off of lux taxable wages. And KCP's 12 mil expiring is attractive - not to mention Beasley's 3.5 mil expiring. Ingram' just turned 21 in September - star upside. We could probably get a 1st rounder from the Lakers in the deal. Good deal for both teams.
I'd entertain that if we moved Wall first and decided we wanted to go full rebuild.
I'm not really a fan of Ingram though.
Ingram's not a finished product, but he's got the kind of length Durant has (funtionally much longer than Oubre), and for a 3 who has his driving ability - his upside is higher than Beal's - without question, imo.

Re: Official Trade Thread -- Part XXXVI
Eh, if Ingram had any hope of being a star we'd have seen a glimmer by now.
I have yet to see a trade for Beal I can talk myself into liking and the idea of Grunfeld executing these moves gives me an ulcer.
It's a heck of a lot easier to find a new coach, then finding star players in this league.
Right after firing Grunfeld that would be my first order of business.

I'm not sure what's happened with Jaylen Brown, but he's taken a massive step down so far this season. He had some playoff games where he looked like he was going to be one of the top young players in the game. Now, he looks like one of the worst offensive players in the game. His PER is down to 7.8 and his TS% is .447. Still one of the most talented wing defenders in the game.

That seems ridiculous. Why would the Wiz trade for Batum, and what has Monk shown other than being an under-sized 2 who can't shoot?

Yeah, I'll bet Charlotte is actively engaging in that deal. And the Wizards are actively engaging in hanging up the phone over and over again.

Let's revisit in 6 weeks.
LeBron isn't about to waste ANY of his remaining prime years.
Then he should've sign with Philly.
LeBron is not bigger than the Lakers organization itself. They're not the Cavaliers where he can just do whatever he wants.
Lol ok... you obviously have the inside info.
No. I just have a common sense. It is EASY to assume that we'd rather keep our young guns and our cap space to try to sign a player like KD, Kawhi or Klay rather than making a trade for John freakin Wall.

It's tough to make a Boston deal work because they lack filler contracts. Essentially, it would have to be Smart + Brown + Morris. Smart and Brown are good players, but you need some offensive talent to play alongside them and we would lack that talent without Beal (particularly if Wall is also moved in another deal).
I would like to steal Brown from them somehow, though.

Re: Official Trade Thread -- Part XXXVI
Alec Burks + Than Sefelosha + Grayson Allen + 2019 UTA 1st (top 10 protected, 2 2nds) for Porter? We don't have the assets to get Beal, but Otto could be real nice for us.
