Re: Political Roundtable Part XVIII
Gates pleading guilty isn't really a surprise and neither is it happening on a Friday afternoon since it will unhinge the Trumpster and his tweets over the weekend! It puts tremendous pressure on Montfort to give up any information he has and it must be concrete and verifiable or he is basically looking at a jail cell for the rest of his life. The information that Mueller wants is likely anything on Kushner, Donald Trump Jr., Trumpster, Jeff Sessions and conspiracy of lessor players.
Wonder what next Friday has in store 6 charges of American's or a Indictable European 5 guilty pleas.

Fwiw, the chambers here are not echo chambers among the liberal posters.

it's a dog and pony show, cammac. if the information was there, Mueller would already have it. the establishment dems have been repeating the same junk for months now, and still there has not been any type of evidence proving collusion. it's just a lot of circumstantial evidence that wouldn't fly in courts.

Making empty statements like this is about as pointless as what the establishment Democrats say about it. There is no point in making any judgments on either side about the investigation until it has concluded. Do you know what the multi-faceted special counsel investigation has turned up so far? No. Neither do I. Just let them do their thing.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Strange. This seems to contradict Nate's promise that there was no quid pro quo.

Yea I do....absolutely nothing proving collusion between the Russian government and Trump. Just a bunch of evidence linking rogue Trump campaign people laundering money and facebook/twitter trolling. This investigation has been a bust so far, and nothing is going to happen to Trump or the people close to him. As a matter of fact, I can tell by the way the establishment dems are voting on the issues...if there was proof of collusion and that Trump was a "Putin Puppet" (such a crock of bull), it wouldn't make much sense to vote in favor of ANYTHING Trump does, wouldn't it? Why did the establishment dems vote in favor of increasing the NSA's spying and warrantless searching abilities? Why did they vote in favor of increasing Trump's ridiculous defense budget? Why did certain establishment dems vote in favor of Trump's admin picks?
Makes zero sense to me if Trump is a Putin puppet.

Not excusing civilian deaths... the Syrian war is terrible for the loss of life... but the USAF pummeled Raqqa and Mosul in the ISIS fight.

I agree to disagree with you on the point that Trump did not obstruct justice I believe that Mueller already has the facts and is just tying the pieces together. I know you are a Bernie guy who I respect in many ways and equally disagree on his ability in fiscal issues. He was duped by the Russians but was a innocent party.
Trump at some point made a calculated move to get in bed with the Russians.

Conservatives: We need to arm teachers and load up GOOD GUYS with guns. More guns = more safe
Also Conservatives: do not bring a single gun to CPAC. Ammunition is banned at NRA events and if you bring a weapon, we will spend five hours inspecting it before hand to ensure it can never fire.

I'm going to guess that random internet poster doesn't know as much information as the special counsel investigating Russia. There's a lot of circumstantial evidence and erratic behavior that points to the fact that at least one person in the Trump inner circle.

What in the actual f**k are you talking about? Trump, the NRA and all the other mouth-breathing RWNJs are advocating teachers should be armed - not that we should put up a few metal detectors and have a few cops on site.
So, again, more guns = more safe unless you're at a Conservative meeting.
gtfo of here with this bullsh*t concern trolling.

Yikes. Why are you so angry over an idea to protect our children? Weird.
If it works or rock concerts sporting venues Hollywood award ceremonies and for Fox news and CNN news I think it’s worth trying at our schools to protect our children? I don’t know why you’re so post of that. Weird.

Yikes. It's almost as if you're moving the goal posts and talking about something entirely different because you're a mouth-breathing RWNJ with zero self-awareness.
Explain why CPAC and NRA events prohibit licensed/legal gun owners from bringing their loaded weapons into the venues when they simultaneously advocate for arming more citizens for the purpose of safety.

Because securing a perimeter and ensuring there are zero guns is even better than arming people to defend themselves against bad guys. The problem is, in most public spaces, you can't effectively secure the perimeter and incorporate metal detectors. But when you can, by all means do so.
I don't know why you think you've got the NRA in some sort of gotcha logic trap. Your attempt is pathetic.

oh silly, that answer is simple. because a crazy deranged mentally ill animal can slip through the cracks like in vegas, orlando, and parkland can get their hands on a weapon and kill people. so they screen for weapons at the door and have armed people there to stop any potential lunatics in case someone attempts to storm the building.
the people speaking at CPAC as well as the lawful attendees deserve a right to protect themeselves and be prostected. so they hired a security team. Because the potus was there, CIA was also involved in security.
if those people were in their own home, car, or place of business they could simply own a lawful gun and will use it if necessary...in case an deranged lunatic attempts to do them harm.
See how that works? this right to protect yourself and your children is actually written into the constitution. The very 2nd bill of rights, right after life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

like i said, its a full rebuild.
