Nice effort. You just can't beat good teams by starting out that poorly.

Can't wain games when you have to dig yourself out of such big holes every night.

Real suspect officiating too.

Honestly, the Wizards get screwed on the regular by officiating.

I think the game got away before the worst calls, but the time Booker pulled the chair is when the game turned for good.

I have this strange feeling that if Young and McGee had played more we would have been blown out by 30.

It's games like tonight when you throw tanking out the window. You want to win this kind of game.

Pity too because we really did play the better game, IMO. But an early hole, terrible officiating and some lights-out shooting by ORL sealed the deal.

It was a one point game to start the fourth, and ORL jumped on them quick.

This game came down to three-point shooting being unreal at times for ORL. McGee's last work was bad in the fourth.

I don't mind this loss at all. Singleton and Crawford were solid. Booker and Wall were great. ORL is just better ... and they get the calls.

This is the way officials are in all sports. You have to earn the calls. Trevor Booker isn't going to get many calls against Dwight Howard. And nobody other than John Wall is going to get calls. Just the way it is. You have to play 5-on-8 sometimes but that's not why we lose games.

Quality loss

Randy got to shake up the line ups. Wall warming up from outside. Crawford posted good numbers as a start. Booker with 13 rebounds 2 blocks.

Just to hard to beat ORL with Howard plus calls plus all their 3 point shooting.

Its a Fing shame Nick isnt established as a spot up 3 ball shooter for us. That position is wide open on this team. If he was smart, he would get busy adjusting his game to become that. Because that is what he will be in this league if anything.

Imagine having Dwight on this team, put Booker at the 4. Try and get an outside shooter in free agency, 50 win team.

Yup.

Say what you will about Crawford (and there are a lot of things to say) but he's a tough motha-shut-yo-mouth. Young has the mental makeup of a pre-pubescent school girl.

I'm telling you, if Book was 2-3 inches bigger, he'd be a force down low. Quickly turning into my favorite player.

Also, love what Mo Evans brings to this team. Like someone said earlier, When Mo's in, the IQ of the rest of team instantly goes up. Hope he sticks around.

If JaVale can get the hook then Chuck should get the hook also for his chucking early in the shot-clock.

Another good tank-loss, I love the scrappy play of-late.

I don't recall many guys doing doing such a good job D'ing up Howard man to man. Maybe Perkins. Booker is such an athletic freak and he actually has good court sense on both ends. Major props.

That might have been Wall's best jump shooting game ever. Feels like a win even though it wasn't.

:D

Well just about everything I have been wanting to see happened in the last two games.

If they had Ronny available, they would be even more solid. Another smart vet player that would raise the team IQ. To do what Randy really wanted to do, you at least need someone as good as Ronny available. Even having Lewis avail would do the same.

It would be nice to see

Wall/Mack
Craw/Mason/Nick
Mo/Singleton
Booker/Dray/Ves
Ronny/McGee/KS

Lewis swop for KS or Ves depending on the team they play and his knee.

That is a smarter team.

Encouraged by Crawford but even on a hot night he shoots 7-18. If they get other scorers he might tone down his chucking. Maybe

Crawford is still fools gold. At best, he's improving to the point where he'll be a reasonably effective "instant offense" guy off the bench. He's still a terrible defender and a ball hog. And he's only effective with the ball in his hands.

I doubt that. But still, he brings more to the table than what Nick ever has. He's also 4 years younger. Nick is a one trick pony with a low IQ, poor instincts and no heart.

That is quite the problem. Wall (obviously) doesn't play well without the ball nor should he. You're essentially neutralizing one of our best offensive weapons so Crawford can play hero ball.
