Randy is better the Ernie or Ted.

I feel sorry for Coach Wittman.

They shouldn't even charge someone to watch the wizards play live. Wizards ticket should be free why should i pay for a team i know going to lose every night at least 95 % of the time.

What's sad is that Joe Wizard-fan probably puts this all on Wittman. I don't think they could name you the GM let alone hold him responsible for this trainwreck of a team.

Ted firing Wittman would make a lot of fans happy.

Most people that pay for a ticket at Verizon Center aren't paying the money to see the Wizards, truwizfan4evr. It's for the team we're facing.

Wittman doesn't deserve a majority of the blame but his lineups, substitution patterns, and accountability are terrible. The second unit was terrible and was losing control of the game yet he waited too long to call a TO or get the starters back in. By the time he did, momentum was gone and the game was over.

Okafor and Ariza also have no business starting and have done nothing to deserve it. Crawford isn't Terry. They need to stop acting like he is. By putting him in and giving him the green light, they're enabling him to play this way. Why is Crawford above the fray. They treat him like he's a superstar. Where is Seraphin? What's the point of playing Okafor so much? Terrible coaching....But the blame to me starts at the top. Its on Ted. His ownership has been a disaster.

Maybe Wizards fans should stage a walk-out like the Auburn students did at halftime of their last game. Not that anybody would notice, but fill the place and just leave, maybe in first half or quarter. F-Ted and F-Ernie for this joke of a team. :(

I thought Ariza played well. So did Booker in the 1st half. But the Wizards are not going to win many games unless 5-9 guys step up. On the plus side, at least the Wizards are less boneheaded than last year. But yeah, looks like it is going to be bad for a while until Wall and/or Nene get back.

Ted is modeling his ownership after that of successful Washington Generals owner (and former Baltimore Bullet) Red Klotz. Working on some new slogans here

The Shock of Victory, The Monotony of Defeat.

Beal sucks wtf is up with 1-11...he reminds me of arvis Hays......projected as a great shooter and had a nice looking stroke but couldnt hit a consisten umper to save his life...the Ray Allen comparisons are just a joke!
Did he ever have a 1-11 game ?

This team is truely pathetic...if anything we're worse than last year.
EG HAS TO GO!!!!!!! He shoulda been gone a long time ago!
Lets look at his draft picks:
Beal - bust
Vesely- stiff
Serafin - flashes but not consistent
Booker- serviceable
Wall - was a no brainer but im not convinced

trades for a broken down Okafor and injury prone Nene.

Even with Wall and Nene this team aint going anywhere. Beal was supposed to be the floor stretcher Wall needed but he aint stretching the floor at 1-11.

In all seriousness, I think I know how to fix the Wizards pretty quickly.

Move them to Baltimore? Bring back Agent Zero from China? How? This group is hopeless...

1. Get Ernie a job within the New York Knicks organization. That, or sit him on a mule. Point that mule out of town. Smack it on the butt and say "Giddy up!"

2. Trade two or three players (small trades) and waive another. Try to create 3 roster spots.

3. Change starters at SG, SF, and C.

4. Contact two teams to interview potential coach/GM hires. (I like Randy but change will require a new voice coach the team--and an all new coaching staff. I would NOT fire Randy during this season -- I would let him coach the season out with the roster changes I have in mind. However, I would very likely clean house yet again this summer.)

5. Canvas the NBA for all Nene and John Wall trade offers.

***The Wizards are not hopeless, but it will take out-of-the-box thinking and smart moves, instead of foolish ones for a change.***

What a stupid, overreaction of a comment. First, it's been 6 games total this season. Second, it's stupid to judge a player based off one single game. Third, coming into tonight's game Beal was shooting 38% from 3-point range. And oh yeah -- he's 19. He'll have his ups and downs.

Lastly, a quick run through Allen's game logs (which only go back to the mid-2000s on ESPN), he actually had a 1 for 13 night. And plenty of others where he's shot between 15% and 25% from the field.

I agree with steps 1, 3 and 4; but it would be imprudent to explore steps 2 and 5 right now. We are going to get short-changed on any trade at this point. We need to win some games before anybody wants our players.
