http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_ ... adley-bealWhat kind of minute restriction should he have been on ?
With Webster, Trevor A and Otto, I think most of us had Beal at about 32 min.
But they added Glen who doesn't look like the right pick so far. But if you wanted a non scoring PG like Maynor then you needed a ready player drafted at SG. If its not Glen, then you had to play more Temple with Otto not ready. And with the injuries they had, I felt Glen should have been getting a few minutes to learn the NBA game from early on. He looked like he was effect coming out of preseason. So did Ves. Then both were iced by Randy.
With everyone healthy, they had plenty of depth with Webster backing up at SG with actually more players than minutes. But Otto injured and then Trevor A and Singleton exposed the Glen pick and the Crawford trade. But even with that, Randy could have played more Webster.
Problem is, even with everyone except Otto healthy, Randy still played Beal 39 minutes.
http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?id=400488936Webster could have played more minutes. Glen could have gotten a few minutes each game, even if it was only 4 min so he could get his feet wet. Temple could get used next to Wall when Wall is in scoring mode. As we see, Ves could get used for rebounds and defense. In a 14 pt win, why was Beal playing 39 mins.
