This is good - we are hanging around in a game where we would have been blown out in the past.

It must be nice to be Prince and get so many open looks.

And of course Wall wakes up after i criticize him, I'll take it :P

Beal needs to get his head outta his ass, ASAP.

That was good defense by Porter on Conley a couple possessions back.

Looks like Wall has woken up

Tayshaun Prince averaging 6.1pts per game on 39% shooting.

Yet has 14 in the first half alone.

I'd play Porter in place of Beal right now no joke. More size on defense and has the better midrange game.

Someone is clearly drinking haterade right now.

Well, I would say we survived the first half.

Gotta get the pace way up though. Wall has to take over more.

The good:

-Wall finished the half strong
-Our front court at worst has played theirs to a draw

The bad:

-Beal
-We need to put a body on Prince

It's hard to disagree though. Beal has played like absolute garbage. As bad as Porters been he's still better than what Beal is currently giving us.

this game is simple. If Wall is aggressive then we can win. If he's not then we cant. We looked like crap until he kicked into next gear. Hopefully he starts the 2nd half the same way. Its not just about him. The whole team plays better and gets better shots if he's aggressive. Our tempo bothers them. Playing slow plays into there hands. Wall has to push the tempo and attack

Why not?

Effectively, play Ariza at SG and at least throw a new look at Memphis.

Throwing redshirt otto porter in against Courtney Lee and Tony Allen does not solve the problem.

I dont think it's that simple. Look at the way Memphis is guarding him. Anytime Wall has the ball, the interior guys step out and the ball defender stays on the weakside. Memephis has amazing interior defense that does a fantastic job at cutting off driving lanes. There is a reason why ALL of Walls points came in transition.

nah. Everythng you said would be true if Wall was agressive but it was clear that Wall came out like early in the season Wall, strictly non aggressive and just looking to pass. I dont care how they are playing him, he only had 2 shot attempts for much of the half. Thats him being non aggressive. No doubt their D is great but he can force their hand more. He even had transition opputurnites earlier like he did at the end of the half but werent aggressive in them. He saw that we were down double figures and deciced to take it up a notch

Great idea. Now how do you go about making that happen.

A) Cross fingers and hope Wall figures it out
B) Have coach with ball bigger then a raisin make sure it happens
