This puts the Celts wins into perspective. The Celts are just slumping badly with Rondo being hurt. We struggled and beat ATL, we struggled and beat the Celts twice. Friday we wipe the slate clean and see where we are.

night and day. The Celtics weren't playing the 4th game out of 5 days. They were missing Rondo for 1 of 2 games. We missed Arenas for both. I don't feel any sympathy for them.

Makes sense. As long as we crush the Knicks by 20+ on Friday it'll be OK.

Any loss to a team as bad as the Knicks is still disappointing though no matter the circumstances. Like I said earlier, this game counts the same as the Boston games. It's not like the Boston games weigh more in terms of the Standings. To say that this game was meaningless doesn't make sense.

I liked Pecherov's play in the first half. Pesh was one of the few guys with any energy. I thought he should have started the second half.

Unfortunately EJ made the same mistake with him that he used to make with Mason last year and Billy Thomas in years before that. A reserve guy will be super hot in the second quarter and EJ will wait until the team gets down in the 4th to put him back in. By then he's ice cold and useless.

And what's up with McGuire just looking plain scared? What's happened to Nick Young's confidence? Neither was aggressive and they basically looked like somebody's little cousins that they let play for a bit just so they don't cry.

Rondo played a hurt 22 min against us, and they are slumping.

I really wish Young would wake the hell up because he has been terrible for a while now. If we had more depth he'd ride the pine with this type of play.

Oh and just to make it clear, The Knicks are garbage. They think they are amazing and back on track just because they beat 2 teams playing their 4th games in 5 nights. Frauds.

I know it's just after the game and all, but it really isn't this serious. They were lethargic, no doubt. But the amount of spent energy and emotion over the past 4 days will take it's toll on the majority of the teams in the L. They'll get some rest the next couple of days and spank that #$% on Friday.

Relax!

God, some of these wizard fans suck. Like Nate said, get a grip. There was honestly no reason for us to win this game. Its our 4th game in 5 nights, on the road, without our top 2 PGs, coming off 2 emotionally draining games, both of which were brutally physical. Relax.

Agree. I only got to watch the 4th quarter, but listened to the 3rd quarter on the radio. It looked like the Wizards gave a pretty good effort...they just had dead legs. I would have liked to see a win but I'm not that disappointed given the circumstances. Hope they kick the Knicks a** on Friday.

Caron Butler is a BEAST

You guys should move Arenas for someone to compliment Butler and build from there.

Yeah, we should go after a PG who can shoot and drive. Someone to take the pressure off of Butler so he doesn't get doubled. Hmm...I think we can get that person by march.

This was one tired team. We shouldnt be down given this loss. Look at the 2 Celtics win...they are quite capable of beating anyone when they're not this tired. 4 games in 5 nights is quite a bit even for pros. Keep in mind that our starting 5 log lots of minutes. We will get our legs back and do well after some rest. Put this game out of your minds.

What we need is someone who can be clutch, and maybe score 50 every now and then. Someone who can drive the ball and get fouls, and also sink that 25-footer. Hmmm....where can we get that...

You're right, he also needs to be money from the FT line and capable of getting a few steals a games. Lets start the search.
