Really? You guys couldn't throw the Wiz a friggin bone and just give us the pick?

It is apparently the Bobcats pick, which could be very valuable.

Minnesota already has 7 PFs, I thought they were trying to make a roster of 7 PGs and 7PFs.

Wizards sure could use Craig Smith and Flynn or Lawson.

You swap McGee for Chalmers? I sure as hell wouldn't.

I think he can be a really good offensive player in time. In saying he's much better than I thought is just like saying Nick Young is much more athletic or his shot is so pretty. Big damned deal.

What has he won? Neither are the type that make mentally sharp plays. Neither are gamers.

If either player was all that good now way in hell the Wizards with two all stars, Jamison and Butler, wouldn't have been much better.

I think you happy dudes just don't know that much.

C'mon, CCJ. Chalmers was in the playoffs because he was on DWade's team. Not because he lit up the NBA. He had a solid rookie year but that's about it.

And you want to blame Javale for the Zard's 19-win season? I'm taking McGee's size and potential (and genes) every time.

QFT. same people too

What good is a message board on the internets if you can't whine, bitch, and moan?

it's all good but the same people rip and condemn players or moves before we even see the results.

They did the same with McGee last year. Dogged him big time on draft day and then they were loving him once the season started and he was getting playing time.

I have a really hard time imagining Blair dropping to 32nd.

This draft is pretty interesting up to this point.

I am surprised that Hansbrough and Jennings went so early.

It cracks me up that Holiday did not want to be picked at 5 by the Wizards, but he falls to 17th.

How crazy would that be if he fell to us?

I mean, it won't happen, so I'm not setting my expectations high or anything, but it would really make my day.

On talent my swap is horrible. Javale's a freak.

On win score check last seasons rookies and see where Chalmers ended up. Recall him winning an NCAA title over Rose's Memphis team. See who helped a Miami team that was absolute crap the season before make the playoffs. Aside from healthy Wade, what else did that team add?

If the Wizards had Chalmers last season there'd be no Mike James. There'd have been a PG that pressured the ball defensively, who could hit an open three, and who'd have fed the ball to Jamison and Butler better.

Chemistry-wise Chalmers would have been a better pick and the Wizards would have won more games than they did having selected Javale McGee.

I expect to get flamed from the same people who never think I'm right.

What are you talking about???? This team is right on the cusp of being a championship team. We have all the parts we need we don't need another young player to come in and furk it all up. The way this team is built, I see us contending for the next 4-5 years. We don't need a young talented player like Rubio who in the next few years could be one of the best young PGs in the league and the leader at the point that this team needs. We already have everything we need!!!

Even my sarcasm can't make me feel any better about this one. Ernie is Kahn's bitch. But with a name like Kahn, we should of known he would have owned Ernie.

Honestly. I'm not surprised by how all of this turned out. Ernie isn't the one to take big risks. He went with the safe plan. Those expecting bold moves out of Ernie are simply setting the expectation bar way too high.

No offense my Wizards brethren, but I'll take Javale over Chalmers all day everyday. Javale showed me more than Chalmers did last season.

Also a good player will be there. BUt I think our priority is to get Mike James the hell out of town with his contract (expiring) and the pick for a big man.

I was never on the Marcus Camby bandwagon but:

James + Stevenson + 32

For

Camby

He would give us depth at both PF and C (more Center)

That would be a great way to get rid of stevenson and James at once

You think we make the playoffs if we have Chalmers with the team we had last year? If not, then what's the point? You'd rather win 10 more meaningless games?

On the other hand, I think the Heat still make the playoffs with McGee at center. They needed big men help as bad as guard help.
