I think there were multiple reasons that Trump won - or looking at it a different way - why Hillary lost.

I think it started with Hillary's communication and the DNC. A large segment of the population was angry - felt left behind. Bill Clinton, Bush and Obama captured their imagination. Hillary didn't and Trump did (MAGA).

The Trump vote also was an act of class rebellion, a working class revolt against know-it-all elites - like Hillary.

I think the Russians and their propaganda machine (which has been trying for decades to sway elections) moved the needle.

The drifting in disparity of wages should have been a huge benefit to Hillary - but she lost issue to Trump as well.

And then pile onto all those issues - the race/sex issue. Sometimes we forget that Hillary is a female.

@Pointgod - I do think that the left leaning media is still in denial on most of these issues - and that is troubling.

I'd add that HRC almost strictly ran on identity politics and calling those who support trump names. she literally had no message. she literally did not campaign. she ran commercials. Bill toured for her. michele did. Barrack did. and thats about it. about 100-800 people would show up at HRC rallies and she barely had any. CNN lied to you and would not zoom out on the rooms and show you how many people showed up. same for bernie. Bernie would have 5-10K at nearly every rally. trump 10-25K both trump and benrie ran on something. there were economic plans, health care plans, education plans, jobs plans, etc. HRC literally ran on being a woman and more of the same of Obama politics which clearly didn't work on just about any level. i cant think of one smashing success off of the top of my head.

wow...so odd. i had CNN on for th elast 2 hours that ive been home and CNN wont tell me where the terrorist is from. I turn to Fox and tucker Carlson opens up the show with the terrorists name, where is from, his religion, and what country he is from. Then a minute later even sheperd smith restates all the same info. 2 minutes into the show from Fox i see the home depot truck, the hoe depot store, the names, dates, everything. got the full story. witnesses: "suspect screaming allah akbar."

CNN. nothing. nothing at all of substance. its like a ghost town on CNN and everyone looks completely low energy. now th esecond they get back on trump or during vegas cuz guns were used. full alert on CNN. full dress. at least 6 heads "expert panel" ready to talk em up all night long. Tonight? Coop's all alone. needs a cup of coffee or two. 2 hours in, i learned nothing except 8 were dead from an automobile. 45 minutes in a see its a truck rented at home depot.

that is such an odd take. i personally feel no hate towards any racial or religious group at all. none what so ever. no even an inkling.

i do however feel that there is a higher chance of radicalized individuals coming from various parts of the world and we should vet those individuals as much as possible to prevent things like today which at this point are becoming more and more predictable. and we should keep a closer eye on potentially radicalized individuals. It just comes down to logic for me. and at this point, its un-american to not vet for radicals nor watch potential radicals closer. i mean we have tons of things we watch for in pedophiles. let me give you a hint: single white male over 45 living in a rental complex with lots of children. the government, local police and local apt. leasing corporations are vet for that ind. strongly and know to watch those guys. and somehow thats ok. but its not ok to vet for islamic radicals?? makes no sense to me.

so why is that racism? religious tension? to me, its got nothing to do with any of it. nothing at all. we know where this potential threat comes from. we know where they hang out. where know who they talk to. we can vet and watch these things so long as we are willing to name names. like trump did. and Obama and HRC refused to do. has nothing to do with race or religion. nothing at all. extremism is a disease of sorts to me just like pedophilia. single white males over 45 hanging out in poor rental complexes with lots of children is who you look for in pedophilia. there is no racism or religion about it. thats who you look for and that is indeed who they look for. every single day. white single men over 45 in rental complexes get "profiled." and they should!!!! we never claim racism on that though. and we shouldn't.

and this one needed its own response. 3-4 different people on the previous page or two basically just called every trump voter a racist. they called half of the country a racist. and you're concerned about flaming racial tensions?

have you guys ever thought that some conservative truly are not racist at all? hannity has black people that are conservative on his shows regularly and often. I watch his show regularly and I put his guests and fellow supporters at at least 40% black 10% hispanic and 50% white. just eyeballing it over the past year. and i can name names if you need me to.

oh, and just to be clear. i'm almost half hispanic and native american, the other half french, spanish, and italian. I'm brown. so i aint playing any silly "racists" games on here especially from the white guys. sorry not sorry. my conscious is clear. 100%. so i speak freely and of clear conscious. I know where my heart is at and got nothing to pretend nor nothing to hide. nearly 100% of my friends and family are all minorities.

I have question for you...was Fox telling the truth about Saudi Arabia being a Islamic terror state when Trump was over there kissing the Saudi prince's buttocks? I'm fairly sure we know what needs to be done. Deport all Uber drivers who at one point lived in the former Soviet Union! If there's another logical answer, I just can't see it. And neither Fox nor CNN are reporting on the obvious issue/solution.
