After those impeachment proceedings I came away feeling pretty sure we got four more years coming.

I hate Trump's guts but yeah, there's only so much damage he can do to the economy.

Better get used to it because i have a feeling he's going to win in 2020

I felt the opposite....but you may be right. :(

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

I’m curious about the positive things under Trump and if you can point me to actual Trump policies that are responsible. It seems to me he’s taken credit for a lot of what started under Obama and would have continued under Clinton while he’s done irreparable harm to the environment, Americans, Democracy and more.

Gloria Gaynor put it best:

Four more years of Trump? SO WHAT. I will survive. (No, not a lover leaving and returning like this song implies...)

God is in control.

If you are a non-believer, TRUST that even if the worst happens and the **** hits the fan, we will adapt and eventually overcome.

That's not to say there won't be demonstrations and maybe outright conflict, war, marshall law -- or, simply a jacked up economy and people feeling persecuted by all the MISTAKES and FEAR MONGERING and HATE this administration festers in won't spill over into everyone's lap.

THINGS COULD GET WAY WORSE...or not.

I even entertain the thought the all the media hype isn't true. Trump's going to be just like W Bush and Obama and for that matter, Carter. FORMER POTUS...eventually. And history will judge him.

ONE THING I AM NOT DOING: Worrying.

The future's gonna take care of itself. (Read Matthew 6. Better yet, listen to the do not worry. Also, same for Philippians 4:5-8)

I'm not worried if WW3 goes down. Hell, in Hawaii about a year-and-a-half ago, I thought an ICBM was on it's way from North Korea. WORRY ABOUT THIS ELECTION???

:noway:  :nonono:

So looks like Buttigieg is dropping out. What doesn’t get talked about enough is that he’s the first openly gay candidate to not only run but win a primary. There was no chance for him this election but I think he has a bright future ahead of him. He should make a run for Senate in Indiana or Governor even.

Of course he has. Taken credit for the good already achieved or initiated under Obama.

But don't forget all the fingers he pointed at "crooked Hillary ". He has seen so many of his cronies locked up and himself has been impeached.

Rush Limbaugh's gloating.

He is/was right about timing and acceptance or lack of for a gay candidate.

TBH, I had written Mayor Pete off before I even knew he was gay. I seriously doubt being gay was the reason he's losing. He's 38 years old and only risen to Mayor of... Indiana. He was never more than a longshot. Maybe sometime in the future? He'll probably give his support to Biden - that shouldn't hurt Biden.

Pete honestly said "why don't I throw my hat in the ring and see what happens" and he was successful beyond his wildest dreams.

I wish we lived in a universe where Pete Buttigieg was the rightmost candidate on the political spectrum in the United States. We could have calm, rational discussions about how much intervention is needed by the government in the economy and what is the least most interventionary way to do it. I wish conservatives were represented by intellectuals with compassion.

If that was the case they’d be called Democrats.

I don’t think we need to give an absolute piece of filth like Rush Limbaugh any relevance. Pete won Iowa and came second in New Hampshire as a guy with literally zero name recognition or national presence less than a year ago. The same reason he’s sucking is that he didn’t reach out to minority voters, everyone except Bernie and Biden have this same problem. Pete is polling around 8-12% nationally. If I was Warren I’d make a hard push for his voting base since there’s cross over.

Trump took it as an opportunity to slam Biden & Bernie in his sophomoric way (but every once in a while, he's right):

"Pete Buttigieg is OUT," Trump wrote on Twitter.

"All of his SuperTuesday votes will go to Sleepy Joe Biden. Great timing."

"This is the REAL beginning of the Dems taking Bernie out of play - NO NOMINATION, AGAIN!" he added.

Is he right though? Buttigieg’s voters going to Biden does not mean the Dems are trying to take out Bernie, it’s just how voting patterns align. Even if Biden gets the nod in a contested convention those are the rules everyone signed up for and again it wouldn’t be a Bernie screw job. What Trump is trying to do is the same thing him and Russia successfully did last election. Sow dissent amongst Democrats because he knows a united Democratic Party is almost impossible to beat. I’m just curious to see which posters on this board repeat the propaganda.

I saw a poll that said Buttigieg's voters' main second choice is Bernie (by a slim margin). Buttigieg is within his rights to say "If you care about *my* opinion, I would like you to vote for Biden."

Then that wouldn't be the dems' doing but Pete's.

Good, we need some clarity. So we don't have people saying "well I woulda won but so and so wouldn't drop out and split the vote"

Did Idiot, Jr really say Dems want millions to die from coronavirus - so it'll help them with the elections? And did Pence really refuse to admonish him for it?
