R.I.P. Jerome Kersey. One of my very favoritest players when the Blazers made their run in '89 - 90.

Fair enough.
Now explain why the t shirt he is wearing is 3 sizes too small for him?
Again, slim, fitted clothing are the style now.

So ripping off and stealing from the past is the style now?
Makes sense. Its a lot easier to steal from the past than to be original.
From sh*t recycled electro beats to guys wearing medium t shirts and wearing their pants tighter than a girl.
Its aint hard to tell why the gentrification era sucks balls.
No originality.
Its all been done before.

All these wack gentrification era urban youth are making AIDS boy Ryan White look like a fashion pioneer.
If they really want to complete their stolen 1980s retro look they should just go ahead and contract full blown AIDS.

Re: Official Random Thoughts Thread - Part 3
So... Suppose a guy a foot taller and forty pounds heavier than you repeatedly disrespects you and challenges you to a fight, over and over, and then shows up at your gym demanding a fight?
Suppose you then win that fight. Is it ok to kick his unconscious body at the end?
My gut feeling is, yeah he was pretty much asking for it. Plus you train to fight until someone pulls you off. If you therefore agree to fight with someone trained that way outside of a refereed fight, you're pretty much asking to be kicked in the head if you lose.

LOL, that's terrible. Nothing wrong with playing the seeding game but for the coaches to involve the players in that strategy...

I never hit a guy again who I had already dropped with a punch. If they didn't want any more I was beyond done with it.
Used to look forward to a bigger guy trying to bully me. Did knock the wind out one who probably 6 or 8 inches taller and 40 pounds heavier.
I remember worries immediately after I hit another kid that the boy cried or suffered. It was NEVER fun to hurt someone but it was great to kick ass. Finished fights I didn't start mostly over being bullied or called a derogatory name.
Zonker, I am middle aged and got a big belly now. That said I would LOVE to learn to roll BJJ and learn that discipline. However, I have concerns. Some people go to far. Some want to keep going even if you tap. Like young Royce Gracie, they will snap your bones and rupture ligaments.
I think that is wrong.
I don't like the last blow Dan Henderson landed on Michael Bisping. I have been hit in the head enough to know that you don't feel it unless your nose or orbital bone or something fractures. It amazes me how one can be concussed and minutes later fine, but still it's foul to strike an unconscious opponent.
PS I hate this phone. Autocorrect should be renamed misspell inducer.

Last fight I was in, dude literally tried to kill me.
If you start something with me you better be prepared to finish it because I am not risking my life for "honor."
If you can't defend yourself maybe you shouldn't have started it to begin with. Think about that in the hospital. If you're lucky.

Ugh, I don't know how I got into such a dark place last night. Too many wizards losses maybe.

Did the sweater start it? It is pretty intimidating.

Hmm, is Zonk the alter ego of Daniel Bryan of the WWE? That looks like the beginnings of the YES chant.

Re: Official Random Thoughts Thread - Part 3
My beard strikes terror into the heart of evil.
No actually when I was in Oregon in the early nineties I got jumped by a nazi skinhead in Portland who was six inches taller and about 40 lbs heavier. Two bikers with the nazi guy allegedly held their hands to their vests to where their alleged terrifying weapons were which is why the six hippies I was with DID NOT RAISE A FINGER TO HELP ME.
Survived only because the skinhead had no idea what the hell he was doing. Spent most of the fight sitting on top of me, trying to choke me to death, which is easy enough to counter by putting your chin on your shoulder. I almost got out from under him when he tried to gouge my eyes out - I got one of my hands around his trachea but he managed to pull back in time.
The only reason I took up martial arts as a teen was to stop fighting and I guess it worked. Although the main reason I stopped fighting is we all just grew out of it. Nobody fights in their forties. Still go back to that place in my mind sometimes. Training helps.

Gentrifiers complaining about potholes.
These people cry about everything.
Soon they will complain about the rats again.
Then the humidity in the summertime.
Then about the blacks being too loud on the metro and so on and so on...
Disgusting yups.

Zonk, dont take any of what I'm about to say personally, but you don't look like a real man. That beard, which you think makes you like a Navy SEAL or an MMA cage fighter, makes you look more like a Writing Seminar professor. Do you drive a Volvo station wagon?
Again, I don't mean any of this as disrespect, but you need to take a good long hard look in the mirror and reevaluate your entire life.

You'd be pretty salty if a pothole put your trans-am in the shop. Then you couldn't get your mom mad by revving the engine too loud.

Praying for you man. Whatever is going on in your life to make you say something like that must be really awful. Glad I don't have your life.
