How many times anyone here dropped acid?
How about peyote?
Mushrooms?
Anyone here ever snorted heroin? (I hope none of you have ever shot it -- I sure haven't)
Step up if you've ever spent a full day smoking opium & know what the phrase "life is a dream" actually means....

I didn't think so. I suppose some of you have "smoked weed," huh? Wow....

Weird thing to brag about. I smoked a ton of pot in high school and took acid and shrooms in college. Best acid I had was fresh stuff from Reed College, was tripping during the finals between Rip City and the Bad Boys, was cheering both sides avidly, then I took my roommate's nerf football outside, as a symbol of the athletic/jock part of my personality, and threw it angrily into the bushes

To no one's surprise, the people with tens of thousands of posts on a wizards forum are also drug addicts.

Haven't touched the stuff in decades, being a federal employee I could lose my job if I'm even vaguely associated with a drug bust, but I'm energetically in favor of legalization of pot and shrooms and decriminalization of all drug use.

Hey, I have less posts than you do. I see what you did there

Also, trade for pick 31 and 33 and 37 and 47 and next year's 22 and 51. Field a team entirely of dudes named Keith.

I didn't mean to be bragging, although I remember reading somewhere that Steve Jobs remarked that he couldn't have a significant conversation with a person who'd never dropped acid, & I understood his point.

I only smoked opium on a few occasions -- in Paris in the early '70s with Iranians who worked at UNESCO. It was the traditional ritual: a long "pipe" with a small, sticky knob of opium at one end; using tongs you picked up a red hot coal from a brazier filled with them & held it close enough to the opium that it bubbled & smoked, then obviously you sucked in the smoke.

It was unlike any experience of any kind I'd ever had or have had since. Imagine the most vivid possible dream & that you are having it while awake rather than asleep.

Hmmm, did you go to Reed around that time? Know someone named Aaron Day...?

I don't, I was only at Reed for a little while - I had gotten a big financial aid package because my mom and my two siblings were all in college... when Mom and my sister graduated I suddenly was on the hook for $16k, which was waaaaaaay out of my budget at the time. I could have borrowed from my grandfather but my mom got a job at University of Dayton so I went there for free instead.

Looking back I'd probably have been better off financially staying at Reed and then getting into a top ten econ program. But going to a super conservative catholic school was a good life experience.

Woj has Wall to the Clippers. So you have PG13, Kawhii and Wall for what, 45 games together?

Just matters if those games are in April and May and into June

Clippers have great coaching and depth as we’ve seen to withstand injuries.

Yeah if they can all be healthy the second half of the season it might be a lock.

That is an instant championship contender if Kawhi is back to what it used to be And again sorry for the voice translation typo

This one surprised me, but they need cheap role players, I'll be curious to see how he does

Can't believe Wall signed for a 2nd year on the cheap. Still wish that we could have gotten him back. I think that he's going to kill it in la and will be a steal

Wall has made his money. He wanted to go where he was a good fit and could compete for a title. All those teams really only had the Taxpayer MLE available.
