Truth is there's enough good stuff on youtube TV that if Monomaniacal Spurts Notwork cuts a deal with them I'm sure I'll get it.

but this whole kerfuffle is because YouTube and
Monumental could not come to an agreement.
So the Leonsis teams covered by MSN are not on
YouTube anymore. No zards, mystics nor Caps.

My parents have the monumental channel through their Verizon package. Can I watch Monumental online/with their app with the Verizon login credentials? Other channels (ABC) etc work that way.

By the way, this works. Looks like I'll be able to watch all the games (legally) this year.

In my case, the app works on my LG, although I do not know how to remove the annoying subtitles…

However, the Monumental app does not work with my other (Samsung) TV…go figure!

So I bought League Pass on Friday but I still can't get it to work.

Very frustrating. Even though I am a boomer, I'd like to think I'm not a luddite. But I'm starting to have doubts.

I have an LG OLED TV (it's awesome). It's fed via WiFi from our FiOS cable (also how we get internet).
We use GoogleTV to watch 'regular network TV' like NBC/CBS/Fox. We get Netflix, used to get Prime until I decided had to cut off MAGA Bezos...

So when the NBA in the process of my installing LP asks me who my TV provider is, I'm not sure how to respond.

Also,
I have an old iPad Air, an iPhone and so...
I should be able to airplay (aircast) a signal from there onto my TV.
I've used the iPad for this in the past. And sometimes my phone starts
airplaying onto my TV even though that wasn't my intention.

Confused about whether a Roku setup would help. It seems to me from my reading that Roku isn't
giving me anything I shouldn't already have. It's mostly just a better, in theory, interface.

MSN app isn't compatible with the LG TV but might be if I bought the Roku?

Shouldn't I be able to install the NBA app to get LP on my TV?

Or maybe just buy a cheap (Not LG) additional TV to watch games.

Jim you should be able to get the MSN app on whatever OS your TV has running. I can’t imagine any newer TV is a “dumb” tv without a built in OS, like my TV is 9 years old and runs on the Google platform. I opened up the Google Play Store on my TV and downloaded the MSN app and it works perfectly. If for some reason you can’t do that you could buy a Roku or an Amazon fire stick or something cheap like that. Can you send me the model number of your TV?
