He could be a good backup PG....look at how he filled in for Westbrook. He gets to the FT line too. He can create, and we need that on our 2nd unit. If the price is right, Ernie, make it so...

He wants to start for a team. Won't be happy here either.

And as others have said, Norris Cole doesn't excite me either. :noway:

Can we just get to busting EG for the wrong decision he is about to make.. whatever it is.

He clearly didn't talk to enough agents. Or he talked to to many and got confused. And getting whatever player he got, we gave up to much and if he didn't get anyone, he didn't give up enough. And we waited to long or didn't wait long enough.

What a terrible move or unmove. Franchise is doomed.

The only way to predict the future is by looking at the past. We have every reason to be nervous, the same man who set us back for years with Vesely, rushed to sign Maynor and gave a 4-year contract to the useless Webster, is looking to make a deal with little in the way of assets...as-usual.

I can actually work with this though Jack comes home but was pretty bad backing up Kyrie last year but Jack makes around 7 mil, someone gotta go other than Sessions!!!

Seems unlikely now that we've traded for Sessions.

If we could get Jack re-route Sessions in that deal with Webster going too

Agreed, it would have to include Webster and it would have to be part of the larger BKN/OKC deal.

Perhaps the deal will send Jack and Garnett to the Wizards, and Seraphin to the Timberwolves.

Seraphin would have to agree to a deal, and Flip could promise him minutes and a future role to make it happen.

I very much doubt Garnett is ready for a victory lap, he's still got enough juice to mix it up in the playoffs.

Jack and Garnett, and all of a sudden the Wizards are looking like a team built for a playoff run.

I think it's more likely to be Sessions and the trade exception for Jack. EG would have to wear a mask and a gun for someone to take Webster.

I get the feeling we'll be in for a disappointment 25 minutes from now.

We could potentially be the 7th best team in the East next year. This is what I meant when I said you've got to get better or Durant won't come.

1. Hawks
2. Cavs
3. Toronto
4. Chicago/Miami
5. Miami/Chicago
6. Indiana with a healthy Paul George and a high pick next year..
7. Wizards?

No guarantee that's where we land, but this was a very very bad deadline for us.

Yup, Miami has pretty clearly jumped in front of us. We might be able to fend them off the rest of this season because of our current advantage but they obviously have a better roster.

Dragic, Wade and Bosh are all All-Star caliber players. Whiteside may be one next season.

We have John Wall.

Wizards coming up short compared to the competition, no surprise there. We have Sessions though.. and predictably RealGM goes to **** when there's really something to talk about.

there's a lot of teams with a bevy of picks too--Philly, Boston.

Meanwhile like 80% of our team is dying off and we expect KD to come here?

THE WIZARDS DID NOT TRADE THEIR FIRST ROUND PICK!

Sessions is not a terrible grab. If he can get back in to form by play off time this could be a solid up grade! Now we should have made other moves! look at what the 76ers were doing, I have no doubt that a second and Thomas would have gotten them to take webby! But oh well. We have some room to bring in a guy of the street. Jerebko, Datome, or Shved could hit the waiver wire soon and I would pick up any of those 3 guys!. Plus China guys coming back and any one else who gets bought out or cut. Kick gooden to the curb and add 2 solid players. It's not the best that could have happened, but its not the worst. Teams like the bucks, the heat and OKC all got better, the pistons did not do to badly either. We just did a moderately good possible upgrade.
If sanders is not as far gone as we think and Shved's issues can be handled. They would help this team a lot. Risky maybe, but if it paid off it could be almost like the deals that were not made. If not there are still guys to bring in that would get minutes over temple/kevin/blair/gooden.

Are we sure we did not get anything else in the Sessions / miller deal?

shved is trash of the worst kind, he's never been decent.

Jonas would be a great grab. He has 3pt range. Doesn't rebound that well but I figure it is hard to rebound in DET with Drummond and Monroe padding their stats. I don't see any reason for BOS to cut him though, they aren't over on players are they?

We might be best off bringing in Birch still and telling Hump to launch 3s :/

thats a deal I thought made sense.

But now we have our first still.

And cap room.

And the teams is like 10 years younger just in that one move.

At least I won't have to read about how we are the oldest team in the league anymore. Gotta factor that in, right ?

And if we got rid of Gooden (not that we should), we would average even younger.
