And one of Kessler/Duren most likely.

LeBron leaving is great for the Lakers.

Agreed that LeBron leaving is good, but paying a max to either Kessler or Duren would be the end of the Luka era imo. The team just isn't good enough and I believe he'd ask for a trade sooner rather than later.

Luka-Reaves-Duren is not bad at all.

It's obviously a massive scandal that will destroy team chemistry.

The only solution is to trade Yaxel and Butler for AD.

I think Detroit is ultimately going to match any Duren offer. They traded away Stewart, added Joe, and added Collins, who is a 40% 3-point shooter. I think they are trying to get enough shooting around Duren and Ausar.

Smart contract for an injury-prone player, Zion’s contract has org protections built-in, this is something the Wiz FO has never done, dating back to Ernie days of hunting for value via injured players.

I was told the video clip isn't as bad as the headline since he was joking but guess we'll find out.

The lakers front office is running on fumes: Kessler, Grimes, Sexton and Mamu all announced in a 10 minute span!

Absolutely! Not much chance at all that Duren is on the move.

I remember when Ernie would use the first two days of free agency to make all his moves and close up shop for the 4th of July holiday. That's what it feels like.

I assume Mamu, Kessler and Grimes are coming over via cap space. Sexton comes in via room exception.

The dollar value on all of those Lakers moves are great imo.

But two firsts and two swaps for Kessler...I'd fire him immediately for that.

Maybe maybe not.... Walker Kessler is an absolutely terrific player.

Yep, a very good player. Worth multiple unprotected FRPs, I don't think so.

And Utah's FC is looking good with:

Markkanen, Filipowski
JJJ, Nurkic

Add to that, they don't crowd out minutes for Ace Bailey. They need to let Bailey (and Peterson) develop. The balance AND picking up the unprotected FRPs is terrific for them.

Now, is it good for the Lakers - TBD.

All you analytic junkies getting these decent but average players paid like generational talents. Kessler just going to be another bad contract in a few years.

Assuming Kessler is healthy $32.5 mill/year isnt bad. Giving up 2 firsts and 2 swaps might hurt though.
