Fabulous game. I fell asleep in 2OT. Spurs sort of gave it away with a a couple of boneheaded turnovers and repeated missed FT's. But they did so without Leonard and Parker. I cannot imagine that in their heart of hearts, Memphis believes that they can beat San Antonio in a seven game series. Memphis is a great team, but I can't see them getting out of the West without upgrading on the wings. All of their wing players are too one dimensional.

By the end of the season, Milwaukee might not be considered so horrible. They're .500 right now, and young enough to expect improvement as the season progresses.

You could be right, but with Parker out for the season - some of that improvement by young players goes away. But GA seems to be improving game by game - don't think he will get the jumpshot down this season though.

It was amazing how many clutch 3's were hit by both teams down the stretch. It was really fun to watch.

It's too bad Ginobili had that brain fart at the end of 2OT. Up 3 with the ball and 7 seconds to go, JUST HOLD THE DAMN THING!

Chicago is playing very well. Enjoy watching their effort. Nobody takes a play off.

That's good stuff.

Until they all limp into the playoffs after doing that for 82 games...

...which I wouldn't be mad at.

Jimmy Butler scored 31 points, Nikola Mirotic added a season-best 27, and the Chicago Bulls snapped Memphis' six-game winning streak with a 103-97 victory over the Grizzlies on Friday night.

Toronto, Cleveland and Chicago all won tonight. It's tough to get any separation.

Butler was picked at 30, last pick in the first round. He is currently 3rd in PER among 2s.

Shabazz has been going off lately. In the last 5 games he is averaging 21 ppg shooting 52%.

Yeah, but I like the tightness of the grouping. I hope it's like that all season because it'll make all forteams sharper and stronger. For now, until we see how our western swing looks like, I'd rank the teams

1. TOR
2. CHI (but we play them in a few days, do we'll see...)
3. CLE
4. WAS

The schedule has been really kind to us.

But if we go 2-1 on our Texas swing, , and win our until then, we are at least #2.

My dos centavos.

...and Mirotic was taken before Butler @ 23. Smart picks. Stunning to think that Grunfeld slobbered at getting Jan Vesely @ 6. :nonono:

Atlanta has also won 11 of their past 12 games. They have a couple of road games coming up that should test them including against the Rockets and Mavericks.

Spurs are the first team since the 1951 Baltimore Bullets to play in back to back 3 OT games and lose.

SA is really unlucky so far this season. They miss Parker and Kawhi and Patty Mills...

And Tim Duncan is just... AMAZING.

The Knicks and Raptors play on Sunday afternoon in Toronto.

RealGM is gonna have to rent few more servers for the traffic. Reading the boards should be a good form of entertainment.

The Western Conference has more tough teams, but the top Eastern Conference teams are very competitive.

-Washington beat the Clippers.
-The Chicago Bulls went to Memphis and beat the Grizzlies.
-Tonight the Atlanta Hawks went to Houston and defeated the Rockets with Dwight Howard in their lineup.

With Coach Bud, the Hawks look like an exact copy of the Spurs. The ball movement and spacing is terrific. Demare Carroll is an underatted 3 and D wing and he played great defense on Harden.

Horford has to stay healthy. Millsap has added a lot to his game.

ATL Hawks are very underrated squad that no one's talking about. They're just as hot as the Wizards are right now.

Kobe stans really having a hard time right now. I haven't double checked this but apparently Kobe is the first guy in 50 years to take over 20 shots per game and shoot under 38%. And his end of game chucking has gone into uncharted territory.
