For anyone who is new-ish and don't know the story, long-time board members JWiz, donkey, and doc once *FALSELY* accused Miller of getting his mod-ship by essentially snitching on members of this board one evening when the three of them (plus Tom, a.k.a. Swami) decided to go all nuts.

Fast forward a few years and it's part of the fabric of the board that, whenever someone is named to be a new mod, we celebrate Miller's "snitching win".

Signing Paul Pierce was like the perfect interim option here. We get a guy for two years that is huge to the development of our young guns, who can help us get far into the postseason both this year and next year. Meanwhile, KD is home watching the Wiz do work in the postseason thinking "Damn, they look good, and I'd always get my touches with Wall dishing the rock" Then by the time free agency 2016 rolls by Pierce has done his work and is gone, only to be replaced by the great KD himself.

As long as we keep improving and making serious noise I don't see how Durant can't give signing with us serious consideration. It also helps that the Thunder just hired a rookie head coach out of college that could completely backfire for them and the fact that I've never considered Westbrook and KD to be really cohesive with one another

One of my co-workers is a die hard Raptors fan. He talked so much trash leading up to the playoffs. Now....he hasn't said a word. Even changed his wallpaper quietly from Demar Derozan to Jose Bautista.

I'm not a huge hockey fan but I have to say playoff hockey is damn intense. Big win by the Caps last night. I'll be going to Game 4 tomorrow(my girl is a huuuge Caps fan).

All these playoff games are putting a dent in my wallet, but I ain't complaining.
