I am on the right side of the political spectrum and voted for Trump. That said, I wont go all SD20 on everyone and start trolling... yet

My question/scenario I pose to the board and some of the more liberal members is this.
We are in late summer / early fall of 2018 and the Trump tax plan is in full effect. Say what you will, but there is no doubt that many people will be in a better financial position due to lower taxes, higher stock market, higher wages/better jobs, etc...
A massive infrastructure package has been passed with at least some democratic support.
So between lower tax rates, repatriation, and infrastructure... Trillions of dollars has now poured into the economy.

How do the Dems (specifically in red states) plan to even be competitive? I mean it seriously...

PS. For arguments sake, lets call the Russia case a wash. Some cloud still lingering around Trump, but thats countered by the continued black eye on the former DOJ/FBI Clinton cheerleaders.... So lets call it a net Zero for this situation.

My Xmas gift to SD20 maybe there is some hope??? However unlikely!!

Random and wild speculation, noxious distortion, outright falsehood, presented by tweeters like this and accepted by posters like this as scientific fact. So thin skinned, so defensive, so (after a point) humorless.

Again, posting James "child molester" Woods tweets like he has any credibility, or is a good actor. Perhaps he should run for Senate.

Much like companies who had already announced the building of factories in the US attributed the deals to Trump in order to suck up to Trump and get some free and undeserved goodwill, companies lining to suck up to suck up to Trump and attribute pre-agreed upon bonuses to the the tax cut. In other words, they're keeping the windfall from the tax cut and pretending they're sharing it with the employees, just as everyone who wasn't a true believer thought they would.

Spoiler:
see thats not very nice either. and yet you guys(liberals in general) keep telling us how much better human beings you are. when in fact you're not. You are actually quite mean. Literally almost all of you. Liberals are in fact the meanest people on the planet. they are whiny, mean-spirited, immature babies. See, I know who I am and i know I am an amazing human being full of love, kindness and generosity and I also know that I am not a damn fool. So i have no guilt at all for my political point of view. I fully believe that my point of view is a better and healthier and happier way to approach life. My philosophy on life is simply better than yours. My basic philosophy is about helping yourself. doing for yourself. When i have a sense of desperation to address something, I am motivated to deal with it(as opposed to the government coming along and paying for it for me. and when i deal with it, especially personally. with my own sweat equity. the resulting sense of accomplishment releases natural endorphins and euphoria. It's quite a simple concept actually. and it works for everyone. example, go workout today. Push yourself. You will feel great!

Life is just like a good work out. a daily series of good workouts. If you push your mind, your body, your spirit/soul, and do so with a sense of purpose to accomplish your own set of goals along the way...you will end up feeling quite amazing. able to fully support yourself and learn a lot about yourself (and others) along the way. Conversely if you lay around and do nothing you will feel like dog shxt. complete crap. and likely to be lured into drug usage to make you feel better about your **** life. and if you also wait on big daddy government's nipple to suck on and provide you with shelter, food, and medicine then you will feel even worse. It is that simple. Its a terrible life decision and leads to a road of unhappiness. So i simply dont support that "way of life" in any way shape or form. As you will also end up with this delusional sense of entitlement that your neighbors (who got off their asses and worked harder and smarter than you and put in the difficult hours while you slept in) that somehow they owe you part of their pay checks. If You have children, you will likely teach them your lazy ways down the same road of unhappiness. and more and more people will end up feeding off that unsustainable government nipple. Its bad government leading to bad personal decisions or bad personal decisions leading to the false need for bad government(and D' are happy to give it to you so long as you vote for them) . Either way. Its not good for the human race. Thats my position. There is nothing mean, nor sociopathic about it. In fact I'm way out in front and on a much higher plane of living for myself and for humanity. and In my opinion the democrats and the liberal are the sociopaths. They are the devils. they keep paving the way for big daddy government to purposefully keep dependent the poorest segment of the population. they purposely keep them "down" and in the dark. Desperate and dependent. Sad. Evil actually. Anything to remain in power though. Anything to keep government big and spending that money on democratic donor initiatives. Basically for money. Those 10 and 20% margins. Thats what they actually want. they dont want to help. they dont want to heal. they want to keep you exactly where you are and make those 10-20% margins on your tax dollars on some go nowhere, non-needle moving "program" to nowhere. So they can make those same 10-20% margins the following year.

So when, in fact, it is my tax dollars that feed and provide medical services for more people than likely all of you in this thread combined. And I likely employ more people than all of you as well. And that I served my country at the highest of levels in the military(to help keep america safe). and I volunteer as Doctor in my community as well as world missions as much or more than all of you as well. Nicaragua multiple times, Jamaica, Brazil. Well...thats why I laugh at all of this. the liberals are peddling snake oil and i see right through it. Liberal arguments are often immature, emotional, and end with childish name calling. Just like it has in this thread. Liberal political points of view that do nothing but encourage others to keep sucking on that big daddy government nipple as if no one is actually paying for it and as if it is actually a healthy life style. as if future generations wont eventually pay for mounting debt.

But let's move on from the personal for a second and just judge the overall over arching basic political argument just on merit. liberals essentially argue big government talking points over and over and elect snake oil salesmen to deliver false hope. Elected False Prophets that enrich their donors just the same as republicans enrich their donors. Neither party cares about you. You are fooling yourselves if you think that either does. Liberals are not "better human beings" nor are they more humane. In fact more evil imo. Ask yourself a question, which party would be more corrupt? the party that wants more of your money and bigger government or the party that wants less of your money. Again, you are equally fooling yourself into thinking that "giving stuff away" is good for the human spirit where if you dont work, you are just "given" stuff. It kills motivation. And only the poor are afflicted by this condition. where they kind of, give up trying. Why? And democrats come for their vote every 4 years with promises of free health care and other entitlements and the overwhelming majority of the poor remain exactly where they are. Poor. With little real opportunity to get out and get on to a better and more rewarding lifestyle. Again, I know. I am from a poor working class neighborhood where some "get out" and in the surrounding, very poor, non-working- class neighborhoods almost no one gets out.

And that's a problem to me. Democrats want more and more and more of your money to spend on their donor's programs such as the outrageous American University and college racket where young people are convinced they need a higher education. tuition has sky rocketed. Loans are made readily available. and kids now end up 22 years old. in massive debt. and no better job prospects than their parents who barely had high school diplomas. and i could go on and on about the various wasting of tax dollars that democrats(liberals) want more and more tax dollars to waste more and more money on go nowhere non needle moving social "programs" sold to us by snake oil salesmen that dont actually care any more about you than republicans. In fact republicans likely care more about you. Republicans litter you police and fire departments, your grade schools, your military. your churches. All to serve you and your children.

In the end, liberal political policies are childish and appeal to the inner emotional child that exists in all human beings. The child that clings to remain a child be remain dependent. afraid to grow and wander out into the scary jungle alone.

In the end, its down right mean spirited to call my political views sociopathic...just because i think its healthier for everyone to pay their bills? that everyone should work? that the true purpose of government is provide and healthy and robust economy and growth so as to provide work pathways and opportunity to feed, clothe, and shelter yourself with dignity and self respect. Because I dont believe in a free lunch? Not because I think people should starve. I think when people actually get hungry that will find a way to eat. Growing up a poor kid, I began to understand early, that my life would amount to whatever I could make of it. That nothing would be given to me. And as i said, even though my parents were drug addicts, they did come into some money from time to time and my grand parents were actually quite amazing human beings. So we ended up moving to a small town and a nice neighborhood for a period of time. and I got a "taste" of a better life if I worked for it.

And dont ever forget, that those drug addict had a child that graduated cum laude from HS and College and Dental school. That was also a 2 sport NCAA Div 1 athlete. Not you!!!!  So they clearly got something right.

You should perhaps develop some of these thoughts a little more. There's no word limit.

The answer is yes.

Additionally, here are the reasons there are still Republicans in 2017:

-Identity politics / racism
-tax cuts

Yeah dudes, what's you're answer to that directly on point comeback zinger? Nothing buttresses a balanced perspective like a quote from Sean "I have several of these guns at home" Hannity.

Evil was forcing people to have insurance and making them pay

the malingerers that go to the doctor when they have a cough.

Evil is the opioid addicts that get back surgery on the backs
of the American taxpayer when all they have is an opioid addiction
and are depleted of natural endorphins and therefore have pain. Evil is
an aging population that is getting older and older by the year
that frankly is afraid to die. Almost no one in my family

goes to the doctor. And we don't take pills either. And when
our time is up we accept it. So the real evil is Hollywood
and media convincing old people that they should be out there
living this certain life at 80 years old instead of just
accepting death and accepting some discomfort as we age.

Evil is a medical profession that's in on it with the media
and Hollywood doing all kinds of procedures and prescribing
all kinds of pills to the agent population. Again, instead of just
accepting death and some and some discomfort at the end.

Now I'm certain that you and hands are one and the same

Sad, conservatives contribute very little to the pop culture outside of their country music. There will never be a conservative equivalent of the Beatles, Springsteen, or Streep but hey, you've got Scott Baio and James Woods. Cheers
