none of this changes hearts and minds of trumpers. none of it.

Did Ted Cruz pay to have sex with her and that's how they met? Ew! Double ew!

Everyone has a line they won’t cross, even the Bobo. Having Ted Cruz’s baby, that was her line. That baby would have been Damien II, a sniveling, whining, lying, snitching, back stabbing prodigy. I support her right to choose, even if she doesn’t.

Dude looks like he has another 10, 15 years in him, 5 as an effective politician

With our luck he's going to live just long enough to destroy democracy

We are in violent agreement - he is going to be the next POTUS and that will be that...

Fed doing what I feared, overreacting to an inflation problem that has nothing to do with current monetary policy.

Well, the Republicans giving away $2 trillion to the wealthy and then a bunch of multi-trillion dollar covid bailouts have finally caught up to us, maybe they're right to put on the brakes.

I think what Americans don't get about supply chain inflation is mostly that the rest of the world is (1) still very much in the middle of covid; and (2) other countries are actually taking covid seriously. Like, other countries don't have access to effective vaccines, or access to resources to deploy vaccines.

Never mind other factors such as a perpetual backlog at ports, shortage of truckers, and Ukraine-related price shocks, and industry-specific causes like the recent spike in gas (gas companies are choosing to keep refining centers closed so they can ride out the spike in crude instead of committing to a longer, and more costly process of ramping up inoperative refineries to deal with a temporary spike in crude just so they can keep consumer prices down).

Luttig…he appeared to be truly pained to have to basically say
Trumpism, which currently prevails in the 2022 GOP, is a severe threat to the country.
I applaud him for being forthright in publicly making the statement.

FWIW, his demeanor (maybe not the word I’m looking for), was strained.

I'm sure many prefer not to notice or just look away, rationalize or make excuses but...

Trump was indifferent (at best) to whether The Mob would kill Pence.
You'd think that would make Pence a little upset...upset enough to speak out. Apparently not.
Maybe Pence thinks his only future in politics (with or in the GOP) means he has to shut up and
take it. It's pretty remarkable in any case.

And clear evidence of malignant sociopathy is not enough for the GOP masses
to withhold political support as long as it's clear he will uphold White Supremacy
now and forever.

well, it's pretty clear that the democratic experiment is close to being over, since a sizeable portion of the country is committed to destroying it.

Man and I just moved to Ohio. Should've stayed in DC. When the secessions start I'll be stuck in the idiot's part

The GOP's domination of state houses after 2010 has set the stage for stealing future elections.
This November is huge with some of these Secretary of State candidates running who will do what Trump (or DeSantis or Cotton or whoeber) want to do.
