As I wrote earlier, this thread has gotten overheated. Got to me as well.

Maybe the mods should lock this thread for a year, then open it again for a while, then lock it for a while, then open it for a while when we get that 2d R1 pick?
Real question, why would you want to suppress speech in a space your attendance is completely optional?

Real answer -- I meant that as a humorous suggestion.

What colors did you paint the kids' rooms?

red, black, and white of course :P

Well it's convenient that you cut out the part where I clearly say I really don't know at the end of the day and that's just how it kind of read to me.

And what the hell is this pompous air you have about yourself, talking about what I may or may not do for a living, as it relates to this discussion? You now tried to insinuate the Dawkins is somehow immune to any critique because of title and status. I guess by that line of reasoning, Jeffrey Epstein would be immune to any of anyone's criticism because he was a well to do business man.

Off the wall is you and doclinkin continuing to embarrass yourselves with ad hominem attacks.

It's hard work staying on a friendly basis with you :) But I'm going to keep working on it!

I'll stick with pompous. Not the first time you've made the same insinuation about the level of my personal success or career. Now see there's another fact. I can pull the receipts on that one when I have enough time too if you'd like.

What do these plebes know? They probably didn't even go to college, much less are an accomplished businessman like Nico Harris...

I meant no insult at all. I have no reason of any kind to have any "attitude" in your direction, & therefore I have none.

OTOH, if you feel that I've insulted you in any way, you have my apology. I can assure you it was not my intention to do so.

Above all, there's no benefit for either of us or for the board in this kind of conflict -- tho of course we can differ about Wizards' issues! That's why I asked what color you painted the kids' rooms.

I really have no "ad hominem" kinds of opinions about anyone on this board, neither about you nor about anyone else. Peace!

Hey, the way I look at it, Bub is helping us secure DP. That happens and we can retire this thread.

That would require high level threading the needle. Dream worthy but probably too much to ask. One or a better chance at the other.

One player, playing at an all-star level, serving as a #1 option makes all the pieces here fit better. Some of these tanktastic loses like last night would be turned into wins. Last season the tank may have survived with Deni, this season i highly doubt it would be possible without having to be extremely overt about it... and to be honest, we are already kind of pushing it with some of these lineups and moves disguised as bad coaching (er, experimentation).

Honestly, with this coach (you don't have to be overt having Keefe as the tank puppet master) and where the number #1 pick goes - me thinks we would be in a better position with Deni. :dontknow:

But that will be the forever question to keep this thread going
