Another close loss for New Orleans. I think they'll start to win those games soon

As long as we get a top 6 pick there is no real difference this year apart from getting number 1 IMO

I would LOVE to see sullinger on this team.

We get Charlotte at home tomorrow, and on the road on Saturday as the back half of a back to back. Our tank would be so sturdy if we could find a way to lose both games.

Edit:
Then we get Toronto away on Friday 2/3, and at home on the following Monday. This is a HUGE 2 week period for the tank.

At this point, I've seen enough and hope they are in full tank mode...Move forward with Wall, Seraphin, Booker, Vesely, Singleton and Mack...Clean house by putting Blatche, McGee, Crawford (fools gold) and Young up for sale at the trade deadline to the highest bidder...I'd rather see EG fill out the roster w/ hungry and scrappy D leaguers like Jeffers last year to finish the season than watch this garbage anymore...

I'd wait until the trade deadline on McGee -- with the hope that he'd show enough to merit re-signing and being a part of the team's future.

I don't see any reason to wait on trading Blatche, Young or Crawford.

Young can't be traded until March 1st(a very narrow trade window).

It's not clear from reading Larry Coon's old CBA FAQ, but it looks like the Wizards might be able to trade Young before March 1 with Young's consent. That said, I don't think there's any rush to trade Young. He's not a bad guy and he can shoot the ball. But if I could get something useful for him, I'd do it.

young will be a UFA in the summer so i can't see a team giving up anything of value for him.

I am just hoping that they can get rid of Blatche for an expirer. That would be golden.

Noone is going to want Blatche. I'm pretty confident that he will be amnestied, and that he is the nail in EG's coffin.

BTW, I hate the firing of Flip. I think it has the potential to mess up our tank.

I doubt it. The tank is strong with this bunch.

I think it is probably 5 or 6 deep, but i think the big 3 is a really big 3 by seasons end, and i do think it matters going top 3 rather than top 6, the value in the big 3 is just likely to be huge, particularly in potential, and in potential trades, its just always better to be higher, better position if a team does something stupid, more tradeable asset, and greater breadth of players to choose from. More value, mo problems maybe, but so what, I still think its imperative to land a top 2 worst record, i tend to imagine only 1 or 2 teams generally invading the top 3, so I figure if we're top 2, we've got a good shot at going 1,2,3 or 4, and that works for me. Plunging to sixth means 1-5 get first choice on the big 6 and we get the left overs, not a primo position in my view, especially when you have guys like Davis, and then also guys with ceilings like Drummond, work rates and mentalities like MKG, and work rates, and high floors like Robinson and Sullinger. I don't want 4 or 5 teams sweeping all of them up, and us being left with the scraps, whatever they be, of the big six. I want options, not scraps.

And another top 15 pick please. Deal Young, Blatche, and hell if one must McGee, so we can get at least one more high top 10-15 pick guy. I think if the bulk of these guys declare we can land a star or elite level 3rd guy, and a great complementary player if we can add one more pick (even more if we can swing a deal with our 2 #2's, and say something else).

Big show down tomorrow!

I think our tank is much worse than your tank. We're just better all around at sucking than you guys.
You just wait till we trot out the Higgins, Carroll, Brown, Najera, Diop lineup. Your tank won't know what hit them and you will be cruising to a win before you know it.

I don't think so. You guys have had injuries to Mags and TT. We have been relatively injury free and are still setting the tank standard for the league. Do not underestimate the power of our tank.

You wait till you see our TT. He truly is useless now, he will make Blatche look like Karl Malone.

Dj will still be out, so we will start Kemba who is allergic to passing. Oh yeah, our tank is truly putrid.

Another injury. Even with injuries to your key players we are still out tanking you. That has to raise some doubts about your long term tank supremacy.
