The offense looks bad even by Wizards standards and that is saying a lot.

Zero effort that quarter. I'm not making any excuses for the players but Whitman destroyed any momentum we had playing our bench far too long and sitting the starters. But on the other hand you have Nene and Seraphin chucking up jumpers, Crawford dribbling into triple teams, and nobody hitting an open shot (not that there have been many), so how much can the coach be to blame.

...where's that Kool-Aid thread???
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Beal's wrist changed the optimism to realism. This team is screwed. Always is.

"Not that Isiaiah" Thomas beats the Wizards and the Kings take the home and home added to the wrist and I'll admit, I'm pretty much facing the facts about this team.

Every year it's bad news.

If they can't put Webster or Ariza at SG and flow this team is hosed.

I'm a Randy fan but if he doesn't make them play hard I'll give him no more than 5 more games of my undying support.

nene should be abusing young in the paint. Look how big he is compared to young. Back him down son.

wizards miss beal today. They only scored 11 points in the 2nd quarter SMH. His scoring ability, defense and all out hustle. He runs the floor with wall.

Nene needs to sit a few games until his feet heal. Every shot is a sweeping hook in a desperate attempt to create separation. But every sweeping hook is hotly contested, since he's currently too slow and immobile to get it off properly.

Unless we're trying to showcase him for a trade, we should let him rest.

Currently shooting a robust 38.9% from the field...

Cant believe we fell for this team. How many more PG's have to school john wall before we start considering him a bust? Year 3 and he's borderline top 15 pg. Pretty week. He's becoming an Andrea Bargnani type #1 pick.

How is Wall getting schooled, Jrus Holiday has been doing his damage against our bench. Whitman leaves him on the bench for such extended periods he comes in cold as ice-water.

+1

If the Sixers are single covering him in the post they know he's way off physically.

Honestly I would have rested him until Wall was ready to come back... now, I would say, rest him and Beal as long as necessary, at least through All Star Break.

The Wizards fan base is the same one that went through the ringer with Strasburg, RG3, and even John Wall. We understand the value of letting your stars heal. (Not to mention grabbing a few extra lottery balls.)

The Sacramento Kings, fresh off of snapping a 4-game losing streak by beating the Wizards, currently trail Boston 66-41.

Pathetic performance, mailed it in tonight. These lineups are nauseating, zero method to them.

Radical thought brought on by frustration: Trade Wall with Nene for as much as you can get. To heck with this team. Get a couple draft picks and start over.

The point at which this team stinks and Wall plays poorly is when his value decreases. I know Wall is a spectacular athlete and they had 9 good games with him, but Nene is damaged goods and Wall is no superstar.

Wall is a great talent but I would trade him for Marcus Smart and Nerlens Noel.

It's been comical how far they are playing off Wall in the half court. He is no threat to catch and shoot and it is killing the spacing. Philly has been collapsing in the paint more than other teams.

Holiday has far fewer physical tools than Wall. But his ability to shoot opens everything up.

I'm surprised that Wall doesn't elevate more on his way to the rim, given his leaping ability. He's so busy moving quickly that he doesn't explode *up* as much as he probably should. If he did, he'd draw more fouls at the rim (instead of getting knocked down with no call).
