This team really misses Okafor. He was the post anchor that made beating these top teams easier.

Good teams like Dallas, GS and even TOR can pick the Wizards apart. The team has now been scouted. Exposed. Its pretty straight forward what to do to beat them.

Just jam the perimeter shooters and make them cross court pass so you can pick though off and keep the Wizards out of sync. They aren't good at putting the ball on the floor to drive. That puts everything on Wall to be a hero if the 3 balls aren't falling. Its just a soft offense. Except for when Nene is out there working the post.

When other teams run their offense, just do this.

If you have a player that can finish off this kind of feed, its like taking candy from a baby. Booker and Kevin will jump the screen and leave the middle wide open. And the Wizards don't have the post defender out there to clean up that kind of mess.

Booker and Kevin are going to have to play a lot smarter on defense and give a lot more effort when they are the weak side post help. If that doesn't happen, they are going to expose the post when they are out there.

So Wizards are left jacking long ball and other teams are dropping in their shots. Not good.

Violent agreement... wish he could get healthy and we could get him back. He was the mentally tough one on D

Holy ****! Anyone watching the GS feed just see the highlight (trickshot) of Wall?? He inbounds the ball on one end, lofting it sky high, and slams it at the other end, ball never hits the floor.. Knew he was fast, but GD.. That's a blur!! Would of figured it for one of those fake commercials if they hadn't said it was legit. (and that it took him a couple tries to get it) Must see!!

I have been tracking Booker to see what exactly he does on defense. So far, what I am seeing isn't good at all. He plays so stiff on D. He also walks around a lot. Doesn't help much if ever in the post. Its been pretty terrible.

Pretty much what he does well is box out or get position for the rebound. All his effort is dedicated to that. Even if it means watching a dunk happen because another player got beat.

And Beal is also getting torched. He can't keep up. But he is guarding one of two really good scorers.

But on offense Wall and Beal are carrying them. Wall is playing really good. Even on defense.

Man, if this team had Bogut or Okafor in addition to Nene and Gortat, they would be at another level all together.

Good to see both Trevor A and Webster driving more. This is one thing this team really needs from them.

No question that last year's Okafor is MUCH better than Booker. Booker still has a long way to go on help D and playing the passing lanes. But he is our 7th best player - and that by a long shot at this point. It would be nice if he could improve those aspects of his game quickly.

Yeah, I haven't given up on Singleton as a player. He might not make it here but if he ends up on another team I would be interested to see what he does. I think he could be a valuable bench player who could start at PF when needed on the right team.

Love when I set my expectations really low and they surprise me. Think I'll do this for the rest of the year. Still expect them to lose this one.

Why is Klay Thompson always wide open, but all of Beal's shots are challenged?

Ok. The league is trolling us. We are constantly getting shafted by charges/blocking fouls.
