Well Buck just said the same thing.

Booker is out.

Yeah, Nene's going to have to stay out of foul trouble. Booker would have no chance of covering him by himself, so the Wiz would have to double him - which would mean leaving someone uncovered, and the Blazers will take advantage of that.

What's that - Booker's out? Shocker. I think this is a game for Vesely and Seraphin - both will have to contribute.

Call in the Jan Glove.

Perfect timing that Booker is missing this one. Time for Ves and Kevin to step up and become a part of the rotation.

Trevor A and Otto on Batum.

should be a fun game either way. Blazers love to run which is what Wall loves to do. I expect excitment. I went to Blazers-Thunder in OKC. That game was back & forth. I think both teams want this win and all stars will show up. Should be great

.500 overall, .500 at home, .500 on the road; we've beaten good teams, we've lost to bad teams. It's a coin toss tonight and every night. I'd love to see us win decisively tonight and then again on Wednesday to beat elite Western Conference teams three games in a row. But I don't have the foggiest idea what's going to happen. Until they show me something to convince me otherwise, I'm going to consider every game a coin toss.

I hope that Jan Vesely gets good minutes. I think Ariza, Vesely, Gortat or Nene is whole lot better defensively than with Booker in place of Vesely.

Also, Vesely brings a ton of energy. The most unused, promising, big man combo is Vesely/Gortat.

Could be like the GS game.

We should know if they are going to bring it with in the first 5 minutes.

If they feed the post early, I will be very happy.

I'll be happy if he just plays an efficient game.

3 pt catch and shoots - about 4 -5 should do.
Dribble 2-3 times and pass.. A nice 5-6 assist game.
Rebound
2-3 drives.

I'll take that and 16-18 pts. Doesn't need to light it up shooting to much and trying to create his own shot.

Play the system.

Yeah, I think the Wizards eek out a close win. Martell Webster would love this win
So would former Blazer Maynor.

And I want to see that 15 assist Wall and 4 assist Beal from last game looking to feed him cutting to the basket. That kind of passing would do wonders for Ves. Could be a VesSanity show if they find him cutting and flashing in the post.

They have so under utilized what Ves does best which is Air Wolf.

 Blazers crew just mentioned that their games in DC are notorious for being the loudest pro-Blazers crowd on the road, year after year.

By the way they are just as terrible as ever, have to look for a different stream.

I doubt it. He's already stated that he won't get into a personal battle with Lillard. I don't think he goes into this game with a personal agenda that could be detrimental to the team. He's about team more now than at any other point I think . That could result in the Blazers getting hit up for one of Wall's 10+ assists performances though...

Hope he starts this game like he did last game.

Feed the post with more of those awesome no look well timed assists. That start to the last game was the best I think I have ever seen him start a game.

I'll take 14-15 assists and 16-18 pts over 40 pts and 6 assists any day.

I think Wall shows that he understands what it takes to live up to his All-Star status from this point on. That's involving his teammates, while getting his without forcing the matter. I agree, high assists games are where Wall's starpower really comes to the forefront...

They aren't playing great, but they are playing calm and sticking with it.

That's a sign of maturing.

Man, if Trevor A could do what Batum just did we would have another dimension.

Yeah it was. You could feel their energy dip just a little.
