Mack and 35 year old Elton Brand and they have Cartier Martin.

I don't think they really want to be in the playoffs. And NY does.

But ATL might have to many other tanking team left on their schedule to avoid making the playoffs.

And NY has to many playoff teams on theirs.

It would be more fitting if NY made it in. They have no draft pick this year and they at least have Melo. But its hard to see how that happens.

We need to start tracking this data. Maybe Kev can add a column to his spread sheets. PPA-HS

As for the game. I expect the Wizards to start this game like they did last game. They are going to come out like a buzz saw. They will eventually get up a nice big lead.

Some there. Its all up to Randy and his rotations to keep it. Let see if he does anything different to help them. Its at that adjustments phase of the game that Randy hasn't found his touch. He has to figure out the right touch to keep the fire toked.

Pre-draft head measurements might feel a little too close to eugenics. We should stick to the eyeball test.

Wizards don't want to limp into the playoffs. The remaining 10 games are winnable (I'm including the Heat at home, figuring by that time LeBJ/Wade/Bosh might sit out). It would be nice to see them go 6-4 or 7-3 down the stretch.

Next 2-3 games are critical. We need to win at least two of three. Start with ATL tonight, then do the same against Charlotte and Boston.

Could really change our seed, especially now that playoffs are become more of a foregone conclusion.

Nyets (see what I did there?) have Minny and Houston at home, then travel to the Knicks, so they are likely to drop at least one, maybe two of those games.

Another easy win, I don't expect anything else tonight.

U do realize we are discussing the Wizards, right?

I hope so as well. Worried about a trap game for us on the back half of a back-to-back.

Pre-Draft PPA-ET ?

As for getting ready for the playoffs, hopefully they don't only come out on a mission, but they ( Randy included) learn to finish them off and keep the pedal down. Personally I think this is where the right subs makes a difference, Some Otto and Beal or Wall and Miller small ball S4/S5. Something. Just get it done. Up 20 is when Randy needs to be a hard ass.

If they can get that done, I'm off to the store to get some Kookaid ingredient. Time to get this party started. Then I have to track these down and I'm all set.

I do.
We're better team in second games of the back-to-backs (10-7) than in first (9-9). Plus: Horford, Korver and Ayon are out of the game with injuries.
I don't buy that "trap" game thinking. The only traps are Wizards themselves, plus Randy - the real trap on the bench.

Man anytime the Wizards step on the court they worry me, I don't know what to expect. Hands11 you're right the coaches should help with the players and their shot selection on offense (Beal) but there is no excuse for not playing any defense which only John Wall and Ariza has been playing the last several of games.

That's because this team is schizophrenic, I blame the roller coaster tendencies of this team on Wittman. A coach may not be responsible if a guy's shot goes down or someone box outs (although he can be indirectly), but he sure the hell is responsible for getting guys ready to play and to be mentally prepared to come out with energy and focus. If we had a guy that was half of what Popivich acumen is, we'd easily be a 50+ win team IMO.

Win tonight and Monday and we'd be pretty close to assuring no worse than 6th seed.

Amazing to me. There are only two spots in the standings that would be bad outcomes for the Wiz... And incredibly, we're flirting with them.

Even more amazing is that most teams are trying to lose this year, including the Hawks, and we're still in the danger zone.

The season boils down to this... Only the 'cats and the Knicks are TRYING to be where the Wizards are.

no Carroll tonight but they get Antic back

all in all I want to just see this team get a home groove back. Look like we had it some last game but couldnt hit shots. We should be hotter tonight as long as Wall pushes tempo

The game is now right? or it's still 1 more hour?

We've got this time change today and it's confusing me a lot 2 am into 3 am in Europe. They are stealing my 1h of sleep :P

I have posted that many times. Mostly because Randy is the HC.

What do I expect tonight. I expect the Wizards to jump on them like they did IND last night.

Once up by 15, who knows.

again why does Booker start. He makes some of the most idiotic plays. Another dumb tap for no reason and then doesnt go for the ball when Wall is throwing it in bounds to him

Ok. ATL is hot. Fine with that.

But after that Booker play and then the Wall play.

YOU HAVE TO CALL A TIME OUT RANDY.

THEN YOU CHEW THEM OUT.

Why doesn't he understand this yet ?
