Lots of negativity in here
IMO we are the 4th or 5th best team in the league.

For Wall's development, having a competitive first round series is important. In other words, the sixth seed is important and so is this game. We have a slightly easier schedule than the bobcats to finish the season so hopefully we can get it.

I thiink we can be competitive at the 7th seed but even if not, I think Wall can play well. To me thats more important for his development. He's had a couple of big games against Indy and he generally plays really well against the Heat so I think his confidence would be well in the Summer, especially if its the Heat. He will get alot of exposure in that series too

Wiz fans are too negative right now. We are playing worst then all the teams grouped around us but weve had stretches like this during the year and weve had stretches where we have looked really good. There is still 4 games left to right the ship and we just got our 2nd best player. I bet you guys dont even realize that we are I think 19-9 in the last 28 games that Nene has started. Not only that but when he started we had like the #4 ranked starting lineup in the whole league. Thats including the Western Conference and the big 2's hot start. We were still average because of that 2-7 start and our great starting group was offset by having the worst bench in the league. That isnt the case anymore.

Look, Wall has had min slumps or average play but after that he ususally goes on like a very long stretch of good play. It only takes 1 game to change everthing. If Wall looks great and we win then we will be back on the right track again. i do think it maybe time to start Nene strictly because he's a great post player and I think with our system, he actually gets Beal better looks. This might slow down Wall some but we just have to fix that next year with a new coach and Wall is still talented enough to play well like this.

Move Nene back into the starting group, come off the bench with Dre, Web, Book, & Drew. That lineup gives anyone in the East hell. We have been average but we have had some injuries, and have way better bench guys now. We can be good if fully healthy and everyone back in tehre roles. I still dont see anyone besides the big 2 who are more talented and we still have 2 bigs in Nene & Gortat who play playoff style basketball. We still are capable of locking down teams when we really want to. We can do this. Dont lose hope just yet. It only takes one game to flip the momentum. Just 1. I am shocked by how much we are the favorites tonight though

we are in a funk but we are about to flip the switch. Shots will fall, guys will get a rhythm, and the tempo will be back. I could see it getting started at some point tonight. Guys will find there groove and we will be good after that. I didnt see the last game but Book played well so I could see Witt sticking with him for now. I saw an interview with him and he almost sounded like he was thinking it was going to be about what opponent we play.

Against a bigger frontline he will move Nene back into the starting group but against the smaller quicker teams he may stay with Book. Probably doesnt matter much right now as long as we find our groove. Stats with Wall and trickles down. When we look good, we look really good and look very dangerous. I expect that team to show up again soon and all our fans will be solidly confident heading into the 1st round, no matter who the opponent is

BTW, weve been clearly better then Orlando all year but still pretty shocked we are favored by 7.5 with our recent slump and them at home coming off of wins over Minny & BK.

Grumbling and finger pointing in the locker room apparently?

Fantastic time to start that, absolutely fantastic. Classic Wizards.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Book is still wide open for the mid range J. He is to scared to take it 75% of the time and the other 25% he bricks it. That hurts the O so much. Argh.......we are looking like crap again. Find the switch guys

Ariza hand Wall have had really good wide open looks at the 3 - they will fall over time.

Good to see the Wizards making an attempt to adjust their offense with their jumpers not falling.
