It's not just Antic pulling Hibbert out to stretch the floor, it's Hibbert regressing to the point where he's a self-check offensively and being completely worthless in terms of defending or rebounding in space.
Indy is getting nothing at C. Hibbert's backup, Ian Mahinmi is about as offensively skilled as Hibbert is on his worst day. And the lack of scoring & rebounding at the C position isn't being made up by anyone else.
In a series against Washington Hibbert wouldn't necessarily have to be a scoring threat as long as he can protect the paint, and keep us from scoring easily in the paint and near the basket.
Hibbert is lacking confidence right now, and has for some time, but sometimes all it takes is one game and Hibbert has had a fair share of those against Washington in the past few years.
Let's not forget about West either, who's been a consistent thorn in our side and has had a knack bullying Washington inside and out.
I'd take HCA and Atlanta over and re-energized, confident Pacers team all day.
