Your Washington Wizards are back at home after two emphatic wins on the road against the pesky Toronto Raptors. The Washington Wizards need to continue to be aggressive and at the same time play smart team basketball. Let's hope Beal & Wall pick up right where they left off. Let's go!!! DC RISING!!

Ok, somebody educate me about these black things I see on athletes right shoulder, is it to prevent rotator cuff injuries?

Compression sleeve to improve blood circulation. The pad on the elbow is for protection in case of a fall.

It looks like something that would throw off my shot if i was wearing it. Seen a lot of players wearing them though.

I think he was referring to the black string like material on his shoulder, rather than the elbow.

It's called kinesio tape. It first surfaced at the '08 Olympics and has become very popular.

I look at it like this. A moderate playoff success this season (incl sweepin' TOR) and a long term vision as a real contender are two different thangs. ATL will eat us alive and the difference between the two teams will be made so evident that even patient Ted would want to clip an outdated coach who has no regard of advanced metrics and is incapable of maximizing the talent available. Am I asking too much?

I don't know, If we beat Toronto, Atlanta is looking very mortal so far. The Wall and Beal that showed up for game two can absolutely beat Atlanta.

I also don't think Randy was going to be fired even if we lose to Toronto. Our ownership is way more conservative than Golden State's. IMO, the only thing that gets Randy fired is if the team quits on him. They won't do that, everyone but Gortat seems to love Randy.

Does anyone know of a Wiz bar in Baltimore that will have the game on with sound?

My old joint was CVP in Charles Village. They'll have the game on.

Maybe ATL is not invincible but I would think Wittman will be out-coached pretty badly. That's where I place my hope in Ted seeing the need to modernize his basketball enterprise.

On the other hand, should we end up losing to the Raps after going 2-0 on the road, the pressure for a coach change would be insurmountable, imo. Isnt it pretty historic to lose that way?

runners have been using kinesio tape for a while. I have my doubts that it does
much beyond placebo.

Can you tell me why there is no post up plays for Gortat ? He is defended by this skinny little white kid - Machine should dominate him every single post play... I watched 2 games - no single post up for Gortat ? why is that in your opinion ? Wittmans decision ?

Oh lol yeah I saw the sig, but didn't put two and two together. See for the Raptors TWO stands for "Tank World Order" lol so I had the WO as World Order but had no idea what the B was lol.

Thank you for that.
