I disagree. I still think it's a good idea to trot Nene out with the starting linuep. Healthy-Motivated-Nene is still our best option for defending Millsap.
Now, I certainly agree that Nene needs to be on a short leash. If we get Gimpy-Unmotivated-Nene, then he can split backup 5 minutes with Gooden. We should give Nene the "Dixon treatment": if he hits his first shot or two, let it ride; if he misses, come with the quick hook.
BTW: I think Wittman likes to save Pierce @ the 4 for late in the game, in the hopes that the opponents' bigs will be that much more tired, and unwilling to chase smaller players out to the perimeter. As such, it would be counterproductive to run that lineup earlier, when Pierce would be exposed to a more energetic 4 who would outboard him and draw fouls on him in the post. Could be wrong.

I don't like Horford. Not one bit. You know who he plays like.. NOAH...
He sticks his leg out two miles wide on picks.
He travels
He injured Beal getting under his feet.
He runs right at players and sets moving picks just like Noah zone blocking.
You want to know what Noah would look like he he could shoot better..
He would be Horford.
I never watched him a lot but respected him game. Now I despise the dude like I do Noah.

ATL did appear to run out of gas in 4th. If we stop/slow-down Korver we have a chance. Porter could be the series MVP for us if he keeps this up. When he gains 20-30 pounds, he will be our LeBron stopper in the future.
#FireErnie ~ Because he believed Stephen Curry couldn't help us and Jan Vesely could.
