Bleah @ Buck & Phil fawning over Neal.

Not sure who they jerk off to more, Temple or Neal.

POR decided not to guard Gortat. Fine with us.

Man, our defensive strategy simply isn't working. They are pick-and-rolling us to death. We should try small ball and switch everything. I'd rather force their mediocre bigs to post up than let their guards wreak havoc driving the lane.

Neither Gortat nor Dudley are doing a good job of jamming the pick and roll and forcing a ball reversal. It's killing us.

Good effort to claw back into 2.

It was nice, but it was mostly based on insane shooting efficiency. We're not going to win this game unless we play better defense.

That was a 40-point quarter(!), btw. I'm not going to quibble too much about p&r defense in a particular quarter when we put up 40.

Their pick and roll always leaves our 4 or 5 standing beyond the arc, all alone and picking their nose, guarding no one.

We gotta just chase their smalls around the pick. And because our bigs can't jam the play, they should drop into the lane to cover their smalls coming around the pick and leave their bigs wide open on the outside.

Their bigs will hit their share of Js, but that's better than the status quo

Just found that they were playing now (I have to work today). From reading this thread (other than keynote's post), I assumed the Wiz were about 20 points behind. Portland's an explosive offensive team - not to be taken lightly especially with that backcourt. They did a great job considering they lost 4 starters in the offseason. Wiz are actually shooting 59.5%.

Wall's poor shooting is killing us. POR is staying home on everyone else.

Might want to get some shooting in there. Wall ISO mid range jumper isn't going to bail them out today Randy.

John should just keep shooting long, contested mid range jumpers. It's been working so far for him.

Terrible rotations; stagnant offense.

Randy has his jump shot offense working exactly designed.
