This is team beyond frustrating to play against.

Down by 8-12 points for the entire damn game.
Spurs keep hitting last second shots after sequences of great defense.
Wall keeps going under Parker screens.

Wall is trash on defense now. He's killed us tonight.

Sato can't guard Kawhi. Brooks needed to recognize the mismatch earlier and fix it.

Why not put Oubre on Kawhi?

Because Oubre is even worse than Sato on D. Oubre would foul out in 10 minutes.

So that's what tough defense looks like.

Wall has played the entire game like he has no legs. I think the back-to-back after 38 mins last night has taken its toll.

Gotta hard foul these dudes when they try and take it into the paint. We've been bullied tonight on our own damn court.

Gortat is such a softie. He does the bare minimum.

Beal is playing well, but I've gotta point out that he has shot 37 FGA's in the past 2 games with 0 FTA's. He's not going to be an efficient scorer if that keeps up.

You could say that about almost everyone on the team.

It's always going to be a challenge with him. He doesn't seek contact when he drives. He doesn't slow down at the rim to let people swipe at him with an euro-step or something (Harden). He doesn't have those crafty pump-fakes to get the defender in the air (Wade). He doesn't have good handles/elite athleticism to get defenders out of position.

Has a witch turned Gortat's hands to stone? I swear he has been fumbling so many passes going to the basket the last few games.

Oh for an athletic big with soft hands who could catch anything and finish with power

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Just getting back from the phone booth and I honestly dont know why anyone would sign with this wizards team considering how uneducated our fan base is. I actually overheard and watched two Wizards "fans" discuss why John Wall was or wasn't the problem and it got ugly. One fan taking the position that as an all star john has to carry the team to victory while one fan lamented that the GM is the blame for us not having a bench at all. "The its Johns Fault" fan sounded like John just has to outplay everyone on the opposing team like "Westbrook"...I thought to myself... "why would anyone want to play in front of fans that think that way and play for a GM that makes winning against a superior team and coach only possible if the best player on this team plays a game beyond his personal capabilities". It seems unrealistic to win on a back to back when your bench is full of D-league talent that doesnt mesh well enough to score more than 8 points while the other team tops 30. The Spurs have at least 2 HOFers (maybe past thier prime) and a ton of Champions and superior talent in (KL and LA) while the wiz have no one that is trending to a HOFer, NBA champion (on this team any) or someone that can carry a team with this roster. ...but back to the arguement or debate that the fans had that I witnessed. the fan who just seemed obnoxious to me just kept lamenting that John should do this or that...and I felt like wow... must be his first wizards game. Its interesting how other teams and other fan bases are trying to BUILD a team around pieces while the wiz seem to be praying that John and Brad develop into Jordan and Pippen without remembering Grant, Rodman, Phil Jackson, Hodges, Armstrong, Kerr, Ron Harper (OMG He was amazing), Kukoc....not really realizing that those bulls teams only have 2 players that played on 6 championships- Pippen and Jordan. The rest of the time the teams GM was trying to tinker to get better... while we have idiotic fans that want to TRADE our best players in HOPES that what we get back is better than what we trade...Lebron for Wall is the only thing that would put us in championship territory and that's ONLY because Lebron wouldn't be in Cleveland. Anyone else and we cant get through cleveland WIth Lebron. So...if that's the case...we gotta build the old fashion way and just get better players and keep the best ones we have while we do that...and PRAY to get lucky in the draft...but as long as we have Erine we wont be getting any free agents of any significance and with this BENCH this is another lost year. We lost ground this year...not because of the starters..but because the bench is in worse shape than ever before. How can any one not see that after this game is beyond me. SADDDDD WIZARDS FAN. :(
