In any other workplace, asking someone, anyone, if they had a penis, in public, in front of witnesses, ON TELEVISION would be considered sexual harassment and they would be fired, and if not, the company would be sued for creating a hostile work environment. Republicans should respect the rules of the society they live in or move to a country where such behavior is tolerated and encouraged, like Russia or Turkey. Or Uzbekistan.

So, now we know that the Arkansas legislature, and others are a lot like Russia, etc. That can't be a surprise. Is someone going to take them to court? The Rs run the courts in these places.

And thanks for the link to the Advocate. Now I know where to find "21 Tips for Rimming".

We only know that if the Arkansas legislature doesn't condemn their rogue penis fetishist.

Haha, you are welcome!!! I thought you'd like it. In the interest of maintaining a safe for work environment I promise not to make a habit of it.

Ok, since we all KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO SAY, Ron, it boils down to: it's ok to study racism if the lesson is that people can succeed despite racism. It's not ok to study racism if the lesson points out all of the other people who did not succeed due to racism.

People said some mean stuff about a HOF baseball player, but he was able to overcome. Courageous stuff. Even fine to talk about how Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier, but there will be no discussion about the fact that there was a color barrier, or that tacit color barriers still exist even in sports (black qb/coach bias, kaep, this most recent dustup re: Lift Every Voice).

That's all it is. Or at least that's all it is, according to Ron and people who agree with him. It's a slightly bigger deal for those being discriminated against. Just normal, political disagreements of whether there should be critical thought applied to race. No green font.

"DeSantis said new state laws limiting diversity discussions target "pornography" and books with sex acts, not figures like Clemente."

LIAR!!!!

Modern Republican Party is modeled after WWE, relentless double-down theater. A theater of bigotry. When there’s nothing substantive to offer, grab the mic, enter the squared circle, and give them hate. Did they have wrestling in Germany?

And like I said before, the only reason this is in the paper is because she's wealthy and white. There are almost certainly many, many more cases like this that don't get reported in because the victim is poor and not white.

Didn’t think she was wealthy if she last worked for Publix. She could have had an out of state abortion but was intimidated by the process. There are organizations that help with funds and logistics. I’ve been donating to them for quite a while.

Wealthy in the sense that she is white and therefore much more likely to have positive net wealth (home ownership), even if her income is low. I should be more careful how I say things.

Yes, people are going to slip through the cracks. And statistically the poorer you are, the more likely you are to slip through the cracks. Which statistically means black people will be disproportionately affected. The results of this policy are racist.

Not disagreeing with you, just attempting to be more clear.

Just checking in to reminisce about what an incredible, beautiful person President Carter is.

I do hope - but don’t doubt- his last days will be filled with peace.

A rather insightful series of tweets. Ok, I guess I've been sucked back into Twitter, damn thing is taking too long to collapse.

THEY'RE JOINING HANDS WITH FOX NEWS TO TELL THE LIE TOGETHER

They're not stupid

They're not gullible

They're COMPLICIT

Put a different way, it's a community story telling project where they collectively write the narrative they want to believe, so in that sense it would just be kayfabe. If it didn't have such disastrous real world consequences it would be charming and admirable. My daughter does it when she role plays on Minecraft with her friends. Leave it to Fox News to take something human beings do innocently, naturally and turn it into something horrible and vile.
