I moved away in 2005. I was gone before the Nationals played their first game. And I stopped caring about the Redskins around that time. One can take only so many years of Dan Snyder. I was never a hockey fan.

Almost the same timeline for moving and fandom here though a little older than Nate. Now a Wiz fan in Heat territory.

Walt Whitman HS, George Mason Scalia Law School, though I've had a brother or sister at 5 Montgomery County high schools plus 3 in Fairfax (two of my brothers were in multiple schools).

I'm from Peekskill, NY but lived in Northern Virginia from 1977-2016. Children went to Thomas Jefferson HS and Robert E Lee HS (now John R Lewis HS). Then William and Mary.

I tried hard to dump the Wizards when I left the area, but just couldn't do it.

Is there a way to find the PIF interview?

Not me.

I just want to lose weight and get laid again before I die. :D

(Seriously, I want a female who is beautiful, respects me, and might still be young enough to have kids. I met a woman a month ago who fits all three but I think I'm too old, too fat, and not rich. It wouldn't shock me if she already is or has been pretty wealthy FWIW. The woman is mesmerizing and brilliant. Honestly, I would only want to see her some of the time and let her have a great life. You guys have some idea of my struggles but I feel like Bad Luck Schlep Rock after Divine Intervention. About HER, the funny thing is I know she cares for me. )

Also Dat and Zonker are in Ohio if I recall correctly. Somebody else I’m forgetting from back in the day.

I'm in Ohio regularly (next week in fact) but I've been back in PG county for a few years now.

A DC kid for life tho (Although with a CA birth certificate). T. Roosevelt HS in NW (called Dirty Rose by classmates compared to E. Roosevelt in PG which produced alot of stars). I remember I caught a sweaty towel from Terry Catledge after a Bullets win at the old Cap Center and I let a little snotty nosed spoiled kid rip a jersey that Andray Blatche personally handed me at the end of a summer league game in Vegas without decking him. In my 43 yrs of fandom (I'm 50 btw), this is the most excited I've been outside of the brief time we had Webber, Howard & R. Wallace all the roster. I'm excited about true talent accumulation and not burning through assets left & right sans the Deni trade. I just see what OKC has consistently done and wanna aim for that. For me right now, its about the process more than the results because for so many decades, the Wizards/Bullets prioritized results over process and never had any success because of it.

Born in Camden NJ
Lived in AA County -63-66 Severna Park Folger McKinsey ES
PGC - Oxon Hill (section now called Ft Washington)
since 68 Herndon/Reston

Herndon HS
Fla Inst of Tech BS
Johns Hopkins MS

My prediction- we make the playin next year but not
the playoffs. Or not even the playin.

We moved off to the Rose Valley subdivision, located off Allentown Road. In 1972, it was called Oxon Hill, zip code 20022. Later, if changed to Fort Washington, 20744.

There were two or three other parts to Fort Washington. The better, more expensive homes were located near the actual fort in a section known as Tantallon. Apple Grove is another community close to Friendly High School.

Based on our history we cannot even imagine the future.
