i'll be there tonight, can't say i'm too optimistic. three straight listless games for the wiz and toronto's playing some good ball lately. if jamison guards bosh for more than 3 possessions, well, that would be a bad thing. if haywood/blatche can keep him in check then it will be up to the raps to hit jumpers, which they are very capable of doing. don't leave anthony parker open in the corner, he is $$$ from that spot! calderon scares me, he is carving up everybody these days. i have a bad feeling about carlos delfino, too. guys like that usually give us fits. hopefully the crowd will be into it and the guys will maintain focus throughout and get a needed W.

Ironically, this is the one team against whom Ruffin was actually useful (if, of course, you overlook last year's brain fart of the century).
It will be interesting to see who does the best job on Bosh. I went to see the Raps at the Suns last month and Bosh was completely unstoppable. The Suns strategy seemed to be to pretty much hack him each possession. He got his points... I think he hit 34 or so, maybe more, with more than 20 of them coming from the line.
However, by the middle of the fourth, he was pretty much worn out and the Suns pulled away.

He had 42 points that game. Nobody else could hit a shot.

Biggest news of all: Ben Olsen has organized a get-together with all the new players, including Gallardo, and some of the veterans to attend tonight's Wizards-Raptors game at Verizon Center. If you're going, be sure to say hello.
Gallardo will be in the house. Now we have no choice but to win (in order to make a good impression of course) and to ensure that Gallardo brings this town the good luck (and exorcise all that bad dan snyder karma).
Until Grunfeld goes there is no rebuild.

LOSS.
Ouch. But an opportunity for the big lineup - Jamison to the 3 and big minutes to Pech and Blatche and... DSong
. Actually, Songaila might match up okay against the Raps. I haven't been as impressed as others have with Pech. He's gotta step up tonight.-
