caron and antawn are 100% on the team. kinda ridiculous that JJ made it, he hasn't really been himself this year.

How did Nick Young not make the All-Star team?!?!

Seriously, great to see both of those guys get in. Now I'm just waiting to see if Stevenson gets into the 3-pt competition. I think he would surprise a lot of people.

The Wizards shall always have two all-stars at the game. It's written in the stars.

And how about West sneaking in on the west squad? He's plenty deserving, but with all the great guards out there, I didn't even consider him to have a real chance.

Unbelievable.

Rasheed gets the nod for KG's ASG spot and Orlando fans are still hoping Caron isn't able to play so Hedo can go to NO.

Butler is out guys.

Replaced by Ray Allen. Thank God Hedo didn't make it. Orlando fans wishing injury upon Butler was very cruel.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

I could care less, we won tonight, I'm in a good mood.

And to Ray......break a leg.

Obviously, just an expression, but there's something behind it.

If the Kidd trade goes through, they are going to need another replacement.

Since Kidd was voted as a starter for the East should his AS spot get honored in the West, as well?

I think it should.

The fans voted him in and thus want to see him play in the game (although he should be a bench player for the West, IMO).

The logical decision would be for Stern to expand the roster to 13 players for the game and allow Kidd to play for the West squad and then add 2 players to the East.

My vote for the 2 additional players in the East would be Marion (he shouldn't be punished for getting traded to a team with an awful record) and anyone else but Hedo.

DH is a beast. he has the power (nearly) of shaq and the explosiveness of Shawn Kemp. unbelievable dunks. i'm actually disappointed with the superman 'dunk'. it was an amazing jump, but he didn't quite get there. of course, the judges couldn't see that from their angle, nor could they see GG's candle blow out. i too was expecting the mini-hoop to be up at about 12 feet.

I get the feeling from reading around that I'm in the minority, but the aspect I most liked about Superman dunk was the fact that he threw the ball into the basket rather than dunking it. I mean, throwing a ball down into the basket gives the illusion of more height than slamming it. There was also so much power to it, like he really pegged the ball into the rim. I think if he just jams it in, it's far less visually impressive.
