Agreed about Lost, and Desmond for that matter. I do miss Michael episodes, though, they always get me choked up! Its the dad-son thing he had going on with Walt that I miss. RIP Charlie for that matter!
Oh man... Great show.
But go wiz! I predict a win by 1, a close game, GW shot by none other than Roger Mason, Jr., cause he's due!

Information on Michael (I'm putting it in white and in quotes in case you don't want to know, but it's nothing huge)...
He's listed in the season 4 cast and will be featured in this season, so you probably won't "miss" him for long. Not sure about Walt, though.

wow, i'm so out of it. i never got into watching 24, Prisonbreak, Lost....
and now they just look too strange for me to just start watching now
oh, right, we're discussing a game too. at no time against Dwight Howard and Hedo will i ever be optimistic. we are playing well now, and if everyone plays as well as they have been, i expect nothing short of success. Of course, we have been relying on getting the ball lower near the DH range which could cause some trouble

^ a friend of mine literally swears that Michael is Ben's spy on the boat.... like he has no inside knowledge or anything, but he's hardcore into that theory. I don't think it's true cuz those people knew everything about everybody on the plane, so I don't think he'd be able to fool em like that.
24 at its best is better than Lost at its best, in my opinion. But 24 hasn't really been at its best for a couple seasons. Prison Break is just a great show to watch to be entertained - if you try to breakdown the plot and all that, then you won't find it as enjoyable. Lost is the most intriguing though. My dad's favorite character is desmond and is in agreement with Miller about his flashblacks.
The wire is incredible...I'm a lil biased cuz of the bmore thing, since I'm from there (as i assume at least a few of you are as well), but I just like the references to places I know and all that. Last episode ever on Sunday - kinda sad. This season's been good, but nothing will ever touch Season 4 of The Wire, maybe the greatest season in the history of any TV show ever

The Michael thing actually makes sense.. could be true.. maybe its Sayid? Since after the island they were working together.. maybe he knew he'd get on the boat (it's a stretch..)
woops, anyway should be a good game coming up!

He has a very good chance of being right, but that leaves the question - Where would Walt be? They can't just kill him off (at least I don't think they would) and I doubt he's on the boat as well.
By the way....LOL at this turning into a LOST, 24, Prison Break, Wire thread.

One more time, I'm begging posters not to reveal Wire plot twists in these threads.
Like others, I DVR the show and watch it when I can during the week. I'd like to be able to read a game thread without spoiling the action on the Wire.
Mods, what do you suggest? Should there be a seperate thread for talking about the plots of shows... and slaps on the wrists for those who give things away in other threads?

Best show on TV is "Dexter."

What we do on the Media Lounge is that whenever anyone is posting non-common knowledge about a show or movie, you do what I did in this thread when someone mentioned the character "Michael" on "LOST".
2 step process.
1. Put all text in white
2. Then put the white text in the quote box.
Example...
This is a huge spoiler

Showtimes Dexter is an incredible show, so good in-fact that CBS purchased the first season and is now showing it. I can't imagine the show being the same with network editing though.
Still, The Wire is the best television show ever. EVER!
btw. I love this TV show tangent on this Magic game thread

Thought I'd share these pics.. they're pretty funny. Why the hell did DS take a song from Lil Wayne and put it on his shirt?

My wife watches Prison Break every so often because she thinks some of the guys are hot. I think you can pretty much start watching that at any point and figure out what's going on in about 15 minutes. Not having watched it before isn't a barrier.

that would help us a little.
