just looked over some team stats
I found it interesting that despite the disparity in our respective
records, our scoring dif was the same -0.3. As you might expect,
we score a hair better, they defend a hair better.
Another interesting factoid is we're ever so slightly better in FG% dif.
I was a bit surprised by this since their rep is defensive and ours
isn't.
we have a big edge in FT%, they have an edge in 3 pt%
statistically, we're pretty evenly matched. We're at home with rest.
They're on the road on a b2b. We should have an emotional lift
with Tough Juice's return in front of a home crowd (hopefully
we'll drown out the expected LeQueen jocksniffers in attendance
with a boisterous crowd of our own). They also have numerous
injuries so lets not let someone like Billy Thomas, or even worse
Damon Jones beat us. Stay at home on Jones at least. Let's see
Thomas hit a shot or 2 before we give him too much respect.
But if you're going to leave someone, get something out of it.
Don't get caught looking stupid in no man's land.
but then there's always the dreaded TNT curse to deal with. It seems like
we don't play that well on national TV generally speaking.
Still we should have the edge! Go Wiz. N1, let's see some more of
that stuff that people like to put on U-tube.
I'll be the crazy guy wearing the WizWig and GA home jersey in 107

I'm usually not one for predictions... but here it goes:
Wiz 115 Cavs 114.
LeBron scores 55... but, if you eliminate the points scored after missed traveling violations, missed charge/block calls, make up calls after he whines his way to a pair of free throws... he only puts up 7 points.

Sasha Pavlovic would go off against us.
The Wizards have to be more aggressive in the second half. Too many times I thought we settled for jumpshots, Cleveland doesn't have any shotblockers in the game when Wallace comes out so we should be finishing at the rim (STEVENSON).
I like DeShawn's badass attitude in the 1st half but let your play do the talking... he keeps talking smack but he's not finishing at the rim, or anywhere else on the court. I hope he can get on track in the second half.
Butler, Jamison, and Haywood need to continue to play well in the second half. A little more production from N1 would help also.
PS - What was up with Blatche picking up 4 fouls in the first half?
