It is easily within the realm of possibility that we will one day call Chris Paul the best pure PG of all time. Gil is good. Gil can pass. But Gil isn't THAT good of a pass-first PG.

Two players with two different mentalities. Paul likes to get everyone else involved first, and get his later. Gil is a scorer, and there's nothing wrong with that. He is what he is. You can't change someone like that and expect him to average 10 assists a game or something. Between 6 and 7 assists per game for Gil would be a good year for him.
