Now that's the CP version of GA I wanted to see.

Those were some sick passes.

Who was the one saying GA didn't have the
ability to be a CP type PG ?

Well they are running and AB likes to run. He can
be more natural with his skills so he thinks less.

Also, GA passing like he is will keep everyone
on their toes. If not, DONK. Basketball
of the head.

Anyone else nearly faint when Arenas saved the ball and failed to get up immediately?

Thank god it was just his shoe.

If we feel worried just watching him play, stomach drops every time he hits the floor, can you imagine how he feels?

Arenas' jumpshot, right now, is smooth as I've ever seen it.

The pace of this game, ever since Gil checked in, has been frantic. He has such a great affect on pace.

Talk to me when Gilbert gets 20 assists in a game, or 16. He will never be a Chris Paul type PG. Ever.

True that.

It is easily within the realm of possibility that we will one day call Chris Paul the best pure PG of all time. Gil is good. Gil can pass. But Gil isn't THAT good of a pass-first PG.

Two players with two different mentalities. Paul likes to get everyone else involved first, and get his later. Gil is a scorer, and there's nothing wrong with that. He is what he is. You can't change someone like that and expect him to average 10 assists a game or something. Between 6 and 7 assists per game for Gil would be a good year for him.

I think Gil can work his way up to 9 assists per game or so. I see Chauncey Billups as the model. But yeah, you'll never see Gil dish out 15+ assists on consecutive nights like Paul does routinely.
