I'm really searching for something nice to say about McGee's play tonight. Dude looks years away from getting his act together, hope I'm wrong. Pech has no post game, no defense, no athleticism, no shot, no nba game whatsoever. Sad. Young is not accomplishing much. Critt looks like that third point we've needed forever and ever with quicks and an aggressive attitude. Too bad he has to start. McGuire looks ok.

Psheesh.

Oh well, look at it this way. Our best players are Gil, AJ, Caron, BH, Blatche, Young, McGuire, Songaila, James, McGee, Critt, Pech. Four of our top five players are injured.

Songaila +2
Jamison -7
James -10
Dixon -7
McGee -16
Pecherov -19
Young -20
Crittenton -13
McGuire -10

And a quick 10-2 run to start the 3rd quarter for the Nuggets against the Wizards' starters.

Nothing like losing by 28 on your home floor with 9 minutes left in the 3rd quarter on National Television.

Yeah, great to see the young guys rise up to the occasion and making a name for themselves. Jeez, aren't those guys the least bit embarrassed to show their sorry mugs around town?

Hopefully the great young talent can come in and save the game!!!

Can't win a game when you're playing 2 on 5. Just about the only guys out there ready to compete are Jamison and McGuire.

Doesn't help when Songaila has 4 fouls with 7 minutes left in the 3rd.

That's the funny thing - it's not great young talent. It's just young talent....and it's STILL better than the veterans (sans Jamison and Butler).

Is it just me or does it seem like the Nuggets have had close to 20 dunks already?

No points in the paint offense. Just chuck something up there.

This is as fundamentally unsound a team as there is in professional sports. Tap sucks, but EJ sucked harder in that he never taught these guys how to play properly. This is an incredibly depressing basketball game.

Is it possible to fire the interim coach?

The Wiz are not even passing the ball on offense any more. As soon as they dribble the ball down the court they jack up a long jump shot.

I'm surprised it took that long. That effort in the 2nd quarter was absolutely unacceptable.

As far as tank losses go, this is probably the worst possible outcome. Young guys look like ****, and look completely disinterested in their **** play. They're basically forcing Tap's hand to play the vets huge minutes. Pisses me off players making millions of dollars can look as lethargic as the Wizards do tonight.
